They still make them in the US but you can get say a mexican made strat for half the price of a US one. I have heard that the quality isn't the same though.
the quality is probably better in Mexico.

on mine track 1 and the track <= would be Hog Leg.

one time for valentines day i made 5 copies of a cd for my best friends that were girls and fit as many tracks of hog leg on an 80 minute recordable disc as would fit.

hahahaa that is quite evil
did they appreciate it?

i've mentioned this before, but it is dear to me:  the person who initiated me into the melvins sat me down in front of his speakers, told me to close my eyes and imagine i'm at a concert and turned HOGLEG up realllly high.  i had a few albums and wasn't necessarily convinced of their greatness till that moment.  ::tear::
When a guy tells me to close my eyes and imagine, I get scared!  :x :x :x

ive never framed a poster because i'm neglectful and cheap. the only poster i have up right now is a melvins! [okay and maybe a fugazi] and it is most treasured. perhaps i will frame. anyone from the west coast know about this poster store on haight? they had melvins stuff when i was there. all of their things were framed nicely of course--- i saw such rare and shocking things there. no no its not that strange sights were seen- im just saying the amount of posters were overwhleming!
Rare and shocking things in San Francisco?  :-k   :P
Probably Amoeba you were in. I predict.

no wasnt amoeba! [this was a shop that specialized in posters] although i love amoeba- ive been to the one in la and in sf.---both great!

Honestly, I think the melvins did a great job with the best of cd they did for 'neither here nor there'.  The whole album seems to flow really well.

I can't see breaking up bullhead, or lysol; they seem more like the type of albums that you listen to all the way through.

   1. Bar X the Rocking M
   2. Night Goat
   3. Hog Leg
   4. The Fool the Meddling Idiot
   5. Revolve
   6. Colossus of Destiny
   7. Manky
   8. Oven
   9. With Teeth
  10. If You Get Bored
  11. Let It All Be
  12. Boris
  13. Forgotten Principles
  14. Prick
  15. Mombius Hibachi
  16. At A Crawl
  17. Hooch
  18. Eyeflys

I'd probably throw on some of the harder to find stuff, like jacksonville, etc.

Madonna recorded with Brittany Spears,  just add her to the top of the Brittany connection.

Edit: Even better:

Lenny Kravitz wrote Madonna's song "Justify My Love"
Slash Played guitar for Lenny Kravitz
Andy Wallace mixed a Velvet Revolver album
Andy Wallace has also mixed/engeneered albums by Nirvana, Faith No More, and Slayer
Buzz is in Fantomas with with Mike Patton and Dave Lombardo, Dale played drums for Nirvana

How about: Bob Marley
Bob Marley was on stage with Stevie Wonder
Stevie Wonder was born in Michigan, hometown of GLEN
GLEN gave the MELVINS some shirts
Oh, so GLEN doesn't count?  FINE YOU BITCHES!  :x :x :x

Bob Marley - on stage with - Stevie Wonder
Stevie Wonder - did duet with - Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Springsteen - performed at the Grammys with - Dave Grohl
Dave - Krist Nov. - MELVINS
