Wondering what the Purpose of rotating the Resonator Skin on the kick was for.

Looks like its dampened with cloth strips top and bottom, and also Theres a dampener inside too.

man, Its amazing the kick sound doesnt suffer THAT bad with the Rack mounted hardware, AND the mic-hole.

But it definetely affects the overall Tone bigtime.
