It is very deserving of its own thread.  This song is a motherfucking monster.  Its pummeling, queasy and powerful.  This sounds like filth era swans fucking black sabbath.  No groove, all impact.    This is choking on your vomit while getting your head bashed in with a blunt object.

Melvins Discussion / Dale in the Obsessed
October 13, 2008, 04:00:16 PM
Wikipedia and Allmusic both list Dale as having passed through the ranks of the Obsessed at some point.  I vaguely recall reading somewhere that he drummed on the track Hiding Mask on Lunar Womb.  Anyone have any more info on this?

Melvins Discussion / Melvins and Big Black
November 28, 2007, 11:19:29 AM
Have Dale or Buzz ever claimed to have been influenced by and/or fans of Big Black?  I remember reading some interview from the kevin era where Buzz said they liked albini until they found out he was talking shit about them.

Buzz seems very resistant to namedrop any current bands that claim to be influenced by them.  I wonder what he thinks of bands like Boris and Sunn.  He mentions how a lot of bands that cite the melvins as an influence only portray one aspect of their sound(probably the super heavy lumbering stuff) They ARE playing with Boris next month, and they seem to be more his speed, a band constantly trying new things.
