That's probably the closest I've ever seen Buzz to having 'normal' hair post-Jewfro days

Cheapy CD arrived today. Running time looks like long single. Saving the first listen for when I'm in the car with no kids.

I was skeptical of the selection for song 2. I was wrong.

Care to fill us In?
Number one clue. I put the CD in. Two tracks. 18:11 running time.  Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is 7:15.  :toke:

Yep, "Black Sabbath," track two, is the main event. It recalls epic covers like "Sacrifice" in feel and "Station to Station" in scope/ambition. Al sings. Dale drums. Amps rattle.

Very happy to have the cheapy CD. Both tracks kill, track 1 wins by a slight margin. Haze's mailorder is top notch of late. I order something, it's in my mailbox in 2 days, from MN to WNY.

Can anyone provide a link (or otherwise!) to hear the other track please?!! Super eager to hear it. 10 minutes+ long!!

I think they picked Sabbath for this collab because it was discovered at rehearsal that Al only knows Sabbath songs.

Im surprised they chose 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' though. Al has mentioned loads of times how he considers the first FOUR Sabbath albums as being important to him. Vol 4 in particular and not Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (the album) which came after that.

That's the one song post-first-four that people always give a free pass to (or just forget isn't on Master of Reality or something). If they're feeling generous they'll also give one to "Symptom of the Universe" (while specifying that the second half of the song is, like, gay as fuck doood)

I've actually never encountered anyone so entrenched in stoner rock retardation that they think SBS and Sabotage suck. I knew some punk rock dude who hated everything after Master of Reality, but he also hated Melvins and thought NOFX and Rancid were amazing.

Al's not totally retarded. I'm sure he enjoys the post-Vol 4 stuff, he's just not personally influenced by them I'd imagine
