I dreamed that i was on a romantic picnic in the woods... only me and buzz... buzz was very hot! dressed in leather pants... we made love at sunrise listening to zeke... we became very sweaty.. soooo... later we took a shower... togheter off course... and we made love again! and just when i was about to fire a load in his arse... I WOKE UP! sometimes life ain't fair...

ONCE i dreamed i was music sound waves and that i was controlling how the crowd moved. and the crowd exploded and bits of peoples bodies were splattered all over the place. the melvins were like the 'ta ra ma' and god was on par with a star.
I had a dream about Buzz recently - he was working in a candy store at the zoo, and I went in there looking for gummy grapefruits, which is like the best candy on earth. I saw them on the very top shelf, but Buzz was being a lazy ass and refused to climb a ladder to get them. I was so pissed, then he laughted at me as I left the store.

OMG! Yes! I just had one Tuesday night. Mackie and Buzz were having a house party, and for some reason I was invited. They lived in a huge house on a rocky beach ( This is I guess is cuz they live in the HollyWood hillz). I remember going toi the bath room ( no I didnt piss my self or shit the bed) and seeing beard stubble around the sink and thinking that they should hire a maid if Buzz is shuch a slob. :lol:

I had a dream about a week ago where I was watching a Melvins sound check. They were playing Let it All Be. Some dude started making fun of Buzz and BUzz got off stage and walked up to the guy, sang the rest of the song really loud right in his face, set his guitar down, and walked off.
I said to my firnd - "That was sick!" - and thats all I remember.

Yeah, I did, last night, actually. Krist Novoselic was trying to meet Buzz. Buzz was living in some sort of apartment, and when he opened his door, I saw a lava lamp in his room or something...anyway, first he slammed the door in Krist's face. I don't know why, heh.
Then I woke up, went back to sleep and I had the dream again, but this time Buzz wasn't angry with Krist and let him in and they sat at a table with that lava lamp in the background again.
ha! funny dream, hank. buzz would probably actually do that.

I had a dream last night that I lived in this big apartment building, and the Melvins were playing at venue nearby, but something had happened, like the place had flooded or burned down. So they moved the show to the courtyard outside my apartments. I was able to look outside my window and see them setting up the stage. I couldn't get my shit together fast enough to get out there, and I thought I was going to miss the show.

Funny this thread was revived as I had a weird dream about Buzz last night. I think it was at ATP and Buzz was hanging out and my whole class from school was there and I was entering the room and saw Buzz there answering all these questions by people from my class, they were standing in line. He was very friendly and everyone liked him very much, and they took him very seriously. And, they all had no idea I knew who he was first! Everything seemed over as soon I was there. Two friends of mine told me they had jammed with Buzz earlier that day and how it turned out great, and I had just missed everything. Then I woke up.

also, when i drink wine (or any alcohol...it's the same to my unconscious mind) my dreams are intensified - more vivid, last longer, very confusing, etc. i remember reading a while ago that alcohol (and THC) suppress your early REM stages until the effects fully wear off, at which point your body tries to make up "missing" earlier ones and your cycles become strange and possibly more intense.

Not a melvins dream but a couple of nights ago i dreamt that i was a tv psychic.
i had a dream last night that i saw the melvins play somewhere really weird like in a farm or something, i cant remember. But for some reason they were reaally bad and stopped after song so buzz could brush his hair. Terrifying.

I had another Melvins dream last night - this time I was seeing them live, but throughout the entire night there were these long intermissions. After the third or fourth intermission, I fell asleep in the bar, and when they came back onstage, I didn't even wake up. I slept right through the show, and not one person bothered to wake me up.

A few weeks ago I had two Melvins dreams. The first dream took place at my house where we were having a party to celebrate the big tour which was starting the next day. Buzz, Dale, Coady, and Jared were all there. I don't remember much else except for Buzz getting one of his arms severed at the elbow. I was wanting to ask him how he was going to play guitar without half of one arm but I woke up. I don't remember anything about my second dream... :(
He'd play with a prosthetic arm made from his hair.
i just had a melvins dream last night! it was one of those where it was so real i wanted to log on to make sure the song i heard didn't actually exist. anyway so for some reason i was living in this big warehouse for homeless people only i was the only one there and i saw the melvins on a new episode of beavis and butthead, only thinking back it actually looked more like family guy. anyway it was the melvins doing a new version of some unreleased song from the gluey days and now that i've woken up i can't remember how it goes but it was cool. it sounded sort of like the gluey porch treatments they did on electroretard but it was better.
Time to revive this thread again...... :P
Had dreamt last night that all the past and present Melvins bassists were in a boxing match (except Lorax). It was a good fight between all, but Jared ended up winning the battle, and was crowned World-Heavyweight Melvins Bassist Champion Of The World.
Insane, tonight I really had a Melvins-dream. It was very chaotic, and culiminated in a concert and Buzz & co sitting in a panel discussing the concert, with Schnabster wating to launch the right question.
This is out of control, chaps, I need to go surf on some sensitive pages instead. Wiiiiiiiii!!!!!
i have melvins dreams all the time, they usually involve me seeing them live or trying to see them live and things not working out like they sometimes do in dreams. the best parts are when i'm trying to figure out which really cool only in dreams style melvins shirt. man i've dreamed some cool shirts. none that i can remember but they're always cool.
A few nights ago I had a dream that included reading about new bands confirmed for the Dour festival. The website listed: 'MELVINS. 10x SABBATH'.
Dreamt last night that I was seeing Big Business and the Melvins somewhere in the Pacific NW, but I was late getting to the show. They were already on stage when I arrived. The place had two rooms, one that was a big lobby where they had the bar, and where they sold the merch. The room where they were actually playing in was packed, too packed for me to make my way thru the crowd. I could watch them from the first room though, and get a pretty good view of the stage. They ended the show with Night Goat, and came off stage towards where I was standing. Coady came out first, and I immediately stopped him to tell him what an amazing performance it was. He had a guitar pick taped to his hand, so I asked him if I could have it. He handed it right over, I had noticed that it had been signed by everyone too. I was so excited I thru my arms around him and gave him a big hug and told him that I loved him. He was all sweaty and wet, but I didn't care. I didn't get to meet anyone else in my dream, it pretty much ended there, as I don't remember what happened next.
Coady IS the cute one. :o

We had to hitchhike, catch a bus, and hop a train to get there. We finally made it just in time, as everyone was get situated on stage. I woke up shortly thereafter.

Yeah, but I'm going to the Ft. Collins show, and I'm a little worried about getting there and back now.
I've had dreams about tons of different bands,usually right before or right after I see them or if I've become totally obsessed with them. The only Melvins dream I had was I got lost in Hollywood on the way to a Melvins show and my friends and I had just about given up getting there so we stopped in a pizza parlor to eat and when we walked in they were setting up and played an hour set. After the show I asked them how to get to the venue and they were like "oh shit, we need to get to our next gig" and they gave me directions so I went to see them again in the same night. Interestingly enough I ended up accidentally seeing them in the same week
I've actually had more dreams about Sleepytime Gorilla Museum shows, but they're not too interesting, I'd just go and watch them. The best one though was when I dreamed that they were playing in a mall and it erupted into a riot. I had a Merzbow dream once too where it was Merzbow and 3 other people in the Ralphs down the street from me and they were playing a set. The Weirdest band dream I've ever had has to be the dream about me going to see Gore Beyond Necropsy (a noise/grindcore band) playing at what might've been The Alex Theater or some kind of playhouse. I walked in and sat down with my friend and they were going nuts on stage and then one of them punched my friend and he flew to the back of the theater and for some reason he couldn't get back to his seat. Then all the sudden he was back in his seat and the entire building turned around. GBN was filling a giant net with buckets of crickets. All the sudden the seats rose up and went above the stage and there were clouds in front of us and we had to guide our chairs through these rings but if we missed we'd die and if we went too low we'd touch the crickets. The seats landed back in their rightful place but by this time GBN had turned into a Queen cover band and the stage was set up like a western musical. At this point a woman who looked like a flight attendant with a head made out of a latex balloon covered in papier mache started attacking my friend so I popped her head. GBN's set had ended and credits rolled in front of the stage set to western music.
That's an odd dream indeed.
The only Melvins dream I'd ever had was before I'd really gotten into them. It was shortly after I'd seen them with Primus in '93 and I'd dreamt that both bands were opening up for the Residents at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. I was all giddy since I was a huge Residents nerd at the time but in the dream I only got to watch the Melvins play and it was more of an experimental set than rock. These days I'll take the Melvins over both the Residents and Primus by far...
That's generally how my dreams go, and that's good. It would be so incredibly lame if my dreams acted like real life.

Just last night, in fact. I was backstage with Buzz and Dale and a few other folks. Buzz handed each of us a $20 bill. I thought he was paying us back for the show for some reason, but then he started rolling his up. Then the coke came out. Then I was driving Buzz and Dale to my mansion (?) where I lived with my wife, 3 cats, and my in-laws. Then Buzz and I played with my cats. I woke up feeling like such a nerd.

I vaguely remember a dream I had last night that I was the Melvins merch girl. I was selling all the regular schwag, but I was also selling the new Snivlem shirts. I remember holding up the pink shirt to someone, giving them my sales pitch, I wasn't as charming as John was though, but the shirts looked really awesome in my dream.

Dreamt I was at a Melvins show last night, and received backstage passes from Moss, except he wasn't all hairy, he was clean cut and shaven. My friend and i went backstage, and into the this big room with couches along all sides of the room. Everyone was just lounging around drinking and bullshitting. I sat near Dale and Coady's side, an Dale gave me a new Trick and Riddle book that was coming out. He told me not to show anyone, and that I had one of the only copies at this time. I was ecstatic! I didn't stay there long after that, as everyone was going out to do a soundcheck........(I don't remember what happened after that part)
Maybe this is a premonition to NYE?????
Not sure where this thread has mutated to but I did have a dream involving the Melvins once.
I dreamed that I was either auditioning for them, or just jamming with them, it wasn't clear, but it took place in a closed and condemned Shoney's restaurant, and we all had our amps set up on the salad bar.
Two weird things:
1) In the dream, I originally had my bass at the time (black and gold epiphone GIII reverse), which would have made sense, but when we actually started playing, I was playing guitar, and it was one I have never owned, a heavily-worn black strat with a black pickguard, and the pickups pulled and replaced with two humbuckers. I normally play strat style guitars, but never an actual strat, usually a Peavey.) I know that's not all that weird, but to this day, my post-dream logic constantly bothers me on that point.*
2) We weren't playing a Melvins song. We covered "Would?" by AiC.
* Addendum: After losing all my gear to Hurricane Katrina and an exploding pawnshop, I went to a pawnshop in Austin, and almost bought. . .a black-on-black strat. Looked just like the one in the dream, except no custom pickups.

I haven't had any Melvins dream beyond seeing them live, but my friend had a dream that I was a rhythm guitar player for them. In his dream he went to see them live and he saw me on stage before the concert setting up guitars and the such and he said to himself, "Oh cool, Paul is their guitar tech now," then the rest of the band came out to play. The only song he remembers we played was Going Blind. After the show he says I saw him and then invited him backstage. Cool dream.

I had one last night actually. The dream was that I was in Amoeba records and they were playing a free show and announced that they were playing another free set somewhere else as well. After the first show we went to go check out the other one and Buzz (with short hair), Dale, and a random bassist were setting up inside this cafe with couches and shit and it had a little garden. It actually looked like a place I've eaten at in Santa Barbara. While we were waiting for the melvins to come out and play a guy dressed like a magician (black cape with red lining, top hat, tuxedo, dress pants, magic wand) came in and started talking to the audience and eventually he got the audience to follow him outside while he was talking. He kept dropping obscure hints that we wouldn't catch the Melvins if we followed him so I went back to the Cafe and eventually everyone else came back and they played a song. Right about then my alarm went off.
Not so much a full melvins dream, but I dreamt that Coady was doing a drum technique course
at the local music store, I shook his hand then the dream switched to me at my old highschool.
I think he was in my sub-conscious because I watched the pie eating clip a few days ago.

i had one last night as well. i was singing (more like screaming) backups for the band circa 95. at a certain point in the set, the king went side stage to have a heated argument with mark d. and i was left singing lead on one of the down tempo numbers. naturally, i didn't know the words and looked like an ass. they were nice about me being a fuck up though....
I once had a dream about living in a city in a post apocalyptic future. There was no longer live music or new music. I went into a basement and found several young people huddled around a small television and VCR watching a bootleg of a melvins show from the ozma days.
I also had another dream where I was about to go see the melvins and I went to arby's before the show. That dream seemed like a perfect day. I had a cheddar melt. And I knew that soon the melvins would rock my world.
This question is strange because out of all the bands I like, I have melvins dreams alot. My girlfriend makes fun of me for it. This caused me to make my own melvins mix cd and title it "I dream of Buzzo"

Just woke up......dreamt I was seeing them in a really small town, I think it was somewhere in Utah. I went to the show by myself, after just getting tattoo'd, I left my friend at the shop and she was going to meet me at the show after her tattoo was finished. I got to the venue and walked in just as the Melvins were going on stage. I had missed the opening bands, who weren't really bands, but artists. Moss was in the band this time playing bass. They played a bunch of new songs that I didn't recognize. The set was really short. They threw out a t-shirt from the stage in which I caught, it was a Fantomas shirt though. I went to the merch booth, but they didn't have any Melvins merch, it was all crap from the artists that were there, and a small bit of Ipecac stuff. I was suddenly being tugged in another direction by this old man. He was telling me that the band wanted me to come back stage and meet them, but it wasn't the Melvins who were saying that, the man said it was The Who. I faught with him, and ended up running out the venue and down the street where I caught up with my friend. We kept walking until we found a grocery store, and went in and bought water, seran wrap and aquaphor. We hitchiked our way back to our hotel, and I panicked for a second thinking I lost my Fantomas shirt, but I was actually wearing it. We got back to the hotel room and smoked a joint, a piece of ash landed on my chest and I woke up immediately. :? (How bizzarre!?)
Around this time last week I had THE weirdest fucking dream in my entire life.
I live on a farm, see, and I walked out to my barn for some reason, and behind a pool table I saw the body of Joe Preston, dead, face down in a giant blue ice pack.
Next thing I knew I was in my bathroom, and was packing portions of Joe's meat (in individual ice packs) from a wheelbarrow into a chilly bin.
I was fucking freaked out when I woke. The dream seemed so real that I got on the pc and googled "joe preston thrones dead".
That's actually quite funny for some reason.
I had one a couple of nights ago where I was in Amoeba watching Tom Petty perform and Buzzo was watching too...and that's about it.
I have never had a dream in which they actually played a show, they pop up every now and then but in most cases they just finished playing a show. Like last night.

it seemed like i changed coady behind the drums, cause he was nowhere in the dream, and "we" were tighter and weirder than ever according to buzz, and jared wanted to start a band just with me. hahah then we went to a holiday to croatia together (!!!), once we got there it looked like 80's smackheads theme park or something, buzz really really wanted to have a first jump into the pool, very excited, but said he needed a hit from a bong at first. jared and i went into the showers and asked some dude if he got any weed. he said yeah but we had to inhale some crack or something like that, jared said no problem but i would prefer a needle. jared in speedos with a needle in his arm was a very funny sight. we got back to buzz and yelled "TA-DAAAA!! WE'RE BAKED ALREADY, GO GET YER OWN SMACK!!!" at him and finally jumped in the pool. thats it.

Ha, I've had multiple Melvins dreams. I just had one last night, actually. First I robbed a Lazy Boy store and almost got caught. Whoever I was with did (I think it was a friend or something). Then somehow I wound up at the door of Mike Patton's studio, 'cause I guess he has his own studio. He had really long hair, and it was all wet, like he just came out of the shower. Some people he knew were walking in, and I was standing outside the door. He looked at me for a second, and after he greeted the people, he came over and asked me what I wanted. I remember feeling really intimidated and overwhelmed. I kind of meekly squeaked out that I was looking for Buzzo. He said, "Well, you get an A+ for calling him Buzzo!". (What the fuck?) Then he said how he loved Buzzo's laugh and said he was just a really funny guy. I said I agreed. Then, in a rather cryptic fashion, he pointed at a house across the street. I frantically asked if that was Buzzo's house. Then he pointed at the house next to it, then the next one. I kept asking, rather panicked. Then someone woke me up.

This is weird because I just had my 2nd Melvins dream in 2 weeks last night. I dreamt I was either in the band or a doing roadie services and we were in Las Vegas. That's about it. I remember walking outside the club with Jared and Buzz and going to hunt down some food.
My 1st dream a couple of weeks ago was a little more involved. I was auditioning to be their 2nd bassist. That is, they were adding another bassist. We were jamming at their practice space and everything was going well for the most part. Dale seemed kind of annoyed with me. Then all of a sudden some movie crew came into the place and started setting up to film a horror movie. It ended after that. I never found out if I got the job. :(
i had a Melvins dream last night! It was stupid.
I was in this school/hostel type building and walked past this door with this big piece of paper with a ridiculous amount of band names written on it, so i went and looked at it and it said "The Melvins, Cream, Qui" it just went on and on.. and apparantly all those bands were playing together that night. I just kept being like "what the fuck? Why is this happening? The Melvins and Cream?" and then this guy said "Who cares why, lets go to this half and half!" (what the fuck.) So i went in with my friend Gina and the floor at the venue was divided in half with a metal fence (like when i saw the Melvins before). This guy ran to the end of the stage and said "That will be four dollars" so Gina handed him the money and turned to me and was like "Cara, what do you want to drink?" and i was like "No you paid for this show, let me buy you a drink!" like it was such a big deal to pay four dollars. That was pretty much it.

I had one about a week ago I keep forgetting to post.
My wife and I were walking down the street and we ran into Buzzo. We both started freaking out with excitement. I tried to start a conversation, though it was obvious I was super nervous. I eventually said something about how we should do an interview and that he should give me his number. So he gave me a number and my wife and I were going crazy. When we got home, I realized that the number spelled out "HEF!CKEDHER" somehow. He was fucking with us. It was devastating. Then the number turned out to belong to Terrence Malick.
Ok last night. I'm originally from South Dakota and I don't think they've ever played there but I dreamt last night they were playing in a typical small farming town. They had Trevor as their bassist that night and I was helping them set up in a small bar. They were hanging out in a pool room in the bar and I remember Buzz told me to go get Dale's drum sticks. I did and then I went and had a burger at a drive thru next door and then I went to go get clean white socks for the show. I don't know what that signifies. This has been my 4th Melvins dream in the past year and I haven't even been listening to them much recently. Maybe all of these dreams mean I need to get my head checked or this could be an indication of perfect mental health. Oh the major part of the dream was I was standing outside and it was a beautiful summer day with the sunshine and blue skies and clouds gliding across the prairie and you could see the horizon all around and I was showing Buzz and Trevor how beautiful it was. So that was my dream.
Man, I feel like a creep, but yes I have had one too. There is this place by my house that has plays of the old movie Oklahoma. Well in my dream a they changed it into a waterpark and Melvins were playing the opening night. It was just me and mostly alot of my friends. After the show me and Buzz go 4wheeling in an old blazzer down some backroads. We was listening to Fleetwood Mac, and we was talking about how good they were. I asked him where Dale was and he said he was pilled out somewhere. Wierd!
Last time I had a Melvins dream i bumped into a very busy Dale in a dressing room before a gig. I realised he had things on his mind but he was kind enough to promise me an interview, in L.A., two weeks later. He was sorry he couldn't spend more time with me but he was very busy working on his new musical 'MOONCUNT'. Really.

i had a dream last night where buzz had a tv show. it was a drama that lasted from the early to mid 90's. this tv show involved buzz, his two kids... a boy and girl who were both teenagers, and they had a mom too but she had died somehow. they turned into a family of murder related crime solvers who lived in a typical suburban home. buzz was a very loving father, and the tone of the show was always pretty serious. i remember thinking in the dream that this was my favorite out of the melvins related tv shows... like there were a few more of them.

Buzz arrived with a VHS tape of a documentary about jackalopes and showed it to the audience on large projected screen. After the video was over, The Melvins and the Mothers both jammed together. During the gig, a giant Kurt Cobain pinata was thrown into the audience, to which it was ripped to shreds by the moshing, and pink candy goo came out.

My most recent Melvins dream (from about a few weeks back) was pretty interesting. They decided to play one of those "one-off" shows in which they have a day off on tour but decide to play at some random spot instead. Well this random spot they played at was exactly like the spot Robbie Robertson and The Band described in "The Last Waltz" when they had just started touring so it wasn't any special type of venue...basically just totally random. If you don't know what I'm talking about then watch "The Last Waltz" right now. They go on stage and there is probably about two dozen people in attendence and Buzz has a beer on stage and Jared is totally drunk and dressed up like a chicken. Dale and Coady are just whatever. They start playing for a while and it seems to be kinda mellow and quietish for a Melvins show. So they ask after the first song if the sound guy can turn it up. He says, "ok" and does whatever. Another song goes by and it's just sort of weak sounding. Then Buzz says, "Up..I said up". They play a song, then start screaming at the guy "please turn it up" the guy says "ok" and this happens so on and so forth (even Buzz is yelling "PLEASE!!!") until Jared eventually comes off stage and starts chasing the sound guy with a mic swinging around the top of his head like a lasso (while wearing the chicken suit mind you) while some guys sabotage the soundsystem and just jacks the sound up and rattles the building while Dale and Coady just bust out the most kickass drum noise solo and eventually the whole place starts falling apart while they play. At this point I wake up because I don't want to be crushed. However, I like to think that Jared eventually hog ties the guy, Buzz seeks solace and shelter next to his amp from the falling debri and Dale and Coady finish bringing the house down until everybody is back and ready to play "At The Stake" and "Hog Leg" to whoever is left in the audience.
I had a Melvins dream!! it was a while back but i remember it vividly, all summer i was catching spiders and fighting them with one another and catching frogs and stuff, but I remember catching gators or bears with Buzz and Dale and george(fester) was there and we started jamming near the water and fes was on bass and i was stuck with the tamborine!
i had a dream last night that i was in the studio recording guitar tracks for totimoshi. i was super nervous, but it turned out that i was an awesome guitar player. in the same dream, my sister was trying to hook buzz up with a date, and was sending lots of girls to melvins shows so they could realize just how cool he is.

Had a dream last night that I was having breakfast at some coffee shop called The Lumberjack. They had a tv in the corner that was showing live Melvins footage. During one part there was a video of Hanz singing Star Spangled Banner with the band. Hanz had a Mohawk in the clip and was going ballistic on stage. I remember being amazed at watching it.
Had a dream last night that a young, slim Buzz was on the show "Never mind the Buzzcocks" wearing his mumu and he kept falling asleep and the camera kept zooming in on his eyes closing over. I've yet to understand the meaning of this.

I had a very vivid dream last night about seing them live. The merch ws amazing. There were tons of shirts and other goodies. tjey were selling the ultimate collection box it was like 6x10 feet and had everything. I bought it for 5000 then buzzo bought me breakfast after a night of drinking. very weird. Very real. Im just super excited for the show i guess. Really excited to bring the nw girlfriend and devirginize her ears.
Don't be alarmed if she runs away screaming and speaking in tongues. It's part of the process.
I dreamed I was at a Melvins show once.
ok so I had a 3rd melvins dream right after I got the new CD, I was at a show for the upcoming tour and all I remember from the dream Is I was at the merch booth, it was HUGE like a carnival booth, totally STUFFED to the tits with all kinds of crazy melvins toys (it was like the "it store" of melvins merch) the girl running the booth wasn't responding to me well, but there were DOZENS of intense melvins shirts I remember trying to ask about, there were neat little knick knacks that were totally psychedellic and bizzarre like the melvins dolls looking type stuff.
all the records..basically...well everything you could ever dream of, literally I guess.
Last night dreamed of MOOGLE. It's a search engine, not unlike Google, but all the searches are suggested by members of this board. It's good if you're not in too much of a hurry and need searches with a Melvins slant. Could catch on.
Had my first Melvin dream last night! Yep, basically i was watching some award show on tv with that Greg guy from Red Eye as the host. At the end of the show there was a life time achievement award to the band and some winners type music played in the vast hall as the camera panned to see Dale in the audience. As everyone heartily clapped, Dale stood up and was wearing the current stage gear with furry shoulders and an additional bridal type light brown trail behind him. He walked up a ramp to the stage and he unfassened the trail bit which the camera noted had some writing on it. Next the same happened with Buzz. He got out of the audience took off his shirt and put on a special mumu that also had a bridal type trail. Just as Dale had done, Buzz also walked up the ramp and released his trail and the two trails made up some word or phrase which i dont remember lay there on the stage ramp. He joined Dale and the BB lads all ready set to perform. The layout was weird tho cos instead of how the band usually set up it was arranged going from left to right so that Coady was first then Buzz sat next to him, then Dale then Jared also sat. The whole band was sat in some strange metal construction that went around them and over their heads a bit like a Bozzio kit or something. I thought to myself that this could have been the kit that Dale was having designed by The Electrical Guitar Company. The band then kicked into gear, Dale and Coady going crazy and they started a song. I havent a clue which one it was tho and i was sat at home watching this award show thinking this is the greatest awards clip i've ever seen. The end.
I dreamt once that they opened for Rush and that I ran lights and Billy Anderson did FOH and that Buzz and I sat down front at their soundcheck and eyeballed 'em
and learned firsthand from their bassist that their drummer's name is pronounced peert and not purt and Mark and I stood right under Lerxst as he played their set for over an hour and drank cervazas

Now this is getting a little creepy. The second band dream in a two night row.
The Melvins were preparing for a gig in town, when they realized that the place was not really packed, maybe 20 attenders. To deal with the situation, they thought it would be wise to switch to a more intimate venue. So Buzzo got off the stage and went to call another place, to see if it was available last minute. But before he told me to watch out for the gear, so that nothing happens. And guess what, some thieving lady took a device that seemed important for the performance. When being confronted she made up excuses, but ultimately handed it back. I saved the day. Next thing you know, the Melvins got back on stage (due to unavailability of the other spot) and played a monster show.
Now I wonder what's up next night.

No, she said she had some (mental?) health problems and needed it for them. :)
But who knows what her real intentions were... I wouldn't trust anyone who steals from the Melvins and risks spoiling the fun of other fans for her own greedy needs.
yeah, I had ANOTHER one a few months ago.
tonight i had a dream about the upcoming european tour.i was there and i dreamed that they were performing two sets,one with jared and coady and the other with trevor dunn.
another weird thing of this dream was that they closed the set with the bb guys playing a version of boris with jared singing instead of buzz

I've had many Melvins dreams. Enough that my girlfriend is becoming jealous. But the other night I had one of the strangest ones ever. I had a dream about Dale and Buzz becoming the band for Danzig. Now I love Danzigs voice, but have always found his image and his solo band to be a bit dated and lame. Somehow adding the Melvins seemed to cure everything. they sounded great! There was even something artistic about the presentation. I woke up and laughed my ass off as I realized that this could never happen.
Not only that but I dont even want it to happen.
Last night:
I had to catch a ferry from somewhere to somewhere at fairly short notice (it was the end of the weekend and I needed to get back to the UK). I needed to buy a cheap ticket. There was a woman hanging around the ferry terminal offering discount ferry tickets with cheap bed & breakfast accommodation. I told her I wanted a ferry but no hotel. She was making a fuss about not being able to sell me a ferry-only ticket. I sat her down somewhere quiet, put Lysol on the record player and the accompanying video into the video recorder. Yes, there was an official video to go with Roman Dog Bird. It was of lots of traffic on a busy highway. Roman Bird Dog was playing nice and loud (although there was a bit of trouble from one of my speakers) and in my dream version of the RBD video Buzz was talking - complaining, actually - about everyone's driving: Pull over! You're going too slowly! That's terrible driving! Jesus Christ, who taught you to drive? etc etc.
Then I woke up and bought tickets to Melvins, Sleep and Slayer. Which also sounds like a dream.
Last night:
I was at a Melvins gig in the US. It was now (December). I was at the front and there were hardly any people there. As they finished, Buzz came to the front and told me that Dale had a box of stuff for me and he'd see me in a few minutes after they'd packed up their stuff. He jumped off the stage and went to walk off. I had a couple of questions for him and I called after him but he wasn't interested and walked off towards the back of the room.
I sat down at a long table with a beer and waited for Dale. Dale arrived (very friendly) and sat down next to me after I'd taken my coat off the seat there. Shook hands and gave me a small box of stuff, containing five advance copies of their new mini-CD (damn, I forgot its name although it was a short live set of a recent studio album already out there). I asked him if tonight was their last gig of this year and he replied, rather disgruntled, that there were going to be two others but he didn't want to do them. He said that Buzz knew he had to look after his kids alone since Maureen (Dale's wife) had broken her neck in a swimming accident and was recovering at home but unable to get about much, but he'd booked a couple more gigs anyway, and as Buzz was the boss, he really had no choice in the matter.
He left to go and get me a bit more merch to put into my box and I was left thinking who shall I give my four spare CDs to? JZS was definately going to get one, and Erichka and Anaconda were on the list, too. It finished with me thinking who the fourth person would be.
This dream would have continued if the glass bottle recycling truck hadn't made such a racket outside my window and woken me the fuck up.

This morning i woke from the imagination of Buzz and Dale both attending an award ceremony honouring the band. An on stage announcer said they couldn't attend as suddenly in crept Buzz and Dale from a back door sneaking down past the seated guests near to the front. One very smart looking business type guy got up out of his seat to go out and Buzz accidentilly tripped the guy over onto the floor. Buzzo apologised and by now the whole attending crowd knew they were there and burst into cheers and claps. Strange. :?
That's the third Melvins dream i've had now and one of the others involved an awards show too. What does that say about my subconcious i wonder? :-k
Last night dreamed I was walking past Hove Town Hall a few hours before a Melvins gig there, and leaning against a wall with some travel plans and maps spread out in front of him was Dale. I inroduced myself. He said he's kind of heard of me from the BBS, and aren't I the guy who's just celebrated his 50th birthday? I told him I was ages away from my 50th, and he said Haze had told him I was 50 but it must have been a wind-up.
We hung around, chatting about not much at all, and finally got on a bus to take us to the dressing room. As we pulled away from the Town Hall, the prototype Fairey Delta 2 (see photo) taxies out of Tisbury Road and turned left onto Church Road. We thought it odd that an experimental supersonic research aircraft from the 50s should be driving down the road, but I told him that as there was an aircraft museum nearby, it was probably going there. Dale said he's always been an aviation buff which gave us something else to talk about. We drove right next to Coventry airport and talked about the aircraft we could see.
We got to the dressing rooms after a 15 minute bus journey and sat down with the other tour people. One was a middle aged American woman who was obsessively looking for a napkin. I asked Dale about the 50 states in 50 days tour, he said he was really looking forward to that, that was something he's always wanted to do. I asked him why there hadn't been a competition to plan the 50-day tour on the BBS, the winner being the person who could get gigs in every state using the least mileage. He replied that it would have been ridiculous!
It was all very laid back and relaxing. I had to go home and get some dinner before the gig, so we said, "See ya later."

Hmmm, 8 months since the last one.
Last night I dreamed I was in the park close to the place I grew up in, and someone had organised a Melvins Record Fair, out in the open and lasting just the weekend. Melvins swag only.
It was a very small affair, maybe four or five 'stalls' in the middle of the park in amongst the trees, laid out haphazardly, one or two inside a tent in case it rained.
It was a surprise to see and I got quite excited walking towards the tables which had loads of boxes of records on them, supposedly all Melvins-related. As I got closer I realised it was after 6pm and most of the stalls were closed for the evening, not to open until the morning, so I had to make do with the one or two that were open.
Disappointingly, it wasn't Melvins-ONLY, and I had to wade through a load of other crap before I found any decent Melvins-related stuff. It was great to be able to walk round the park where I played as a kid, looking through all this shit, though. Some of the tables still had boxes of records on them even though the stallholders had gone away for the evening. There was a massive amount of trust about the place.
I was playing weird sounds on various instruments and couldn't get the wiring right, which started to upset the band, until I started playing a massive riff, unto which I woke up.
The venue was a weird garage/ outside back stage at dusk. I believe it was just Dale and Buzz.
My family and friends cheered me on. 8)
Dreamt I had a Melvins' Christmas last night. There was a big snowstorm, and somehow Buzz and Dale needed a place to stay, so obviously they called me up and came over. Irezumi was there also, and I was showing them my "Collection". Buzz was unimpressed, until I showed him a poster I had of him lying naked on a bearskin rug. I asked him if he could sign his ass on the poster. He got a big grin on his face and proceeded to sign it. Shortly after that I woke up.

:shock: 5w33t owns this thread! I don't think I've ever had a Melvins dream. But that's probably a good thing, because Buzz is the kind of person who eats a sheeple like me for breakfast! I probably will start having the Melvins dreams, when I travel to my first Melvins-related show outside of my hometown. :-s
The Melvins have always been a constant in my dreams. Like forever now. They're never part of the main dream but I'll always be at some weird show that they end up being at or I'm walking down the street and I see that they're playing somewhere and I forgot to by tickets. The worst are the ones where I see REALLY fucking cool t shirts that will never exist.
Had a Buzzo solo acoustic dream last week. That was a first.
Dreamt that Melvins were playing a show at a large hotel/resort. There was a big buffet being served beforehand, and I ran into Jared at the dinner hall before the show. I asked him if he wanted to go smoke a doob, and he happily obliged. We walked down some stairs to their dressing room, smoked, drank and then I made my way back to the venue. All the hotel employees were in an uproar because there was another concert going on across the resort, and they were certain that the Melvins were going to be too loud. I kept asking who else was playing and no one would say. So I next walked over to that side of the resort and ran into my boyfriend. He, along with the rest of the crowd there were wearing flasher-type beige trench coats, and Karl Denison was playing. My bf got pissed at me because I ran off to smoke without him, and he was going to stay to watch Karl Denison instead. I told him he was crazy, and that I was going back to get a beer and watch the Melvins.
