Here's a novel idea.  Release the vinyl version at the same time as the compact disc.  Don't use Hydrahead, they are too slow.  Ipecac has quality control problems.  That leaves us with Amphetamine Reptile.

Am I alone in thinking that most people who will download this album in event of a leak are already fairly established Melvins fans who are 97% likely to buy it anyway? I've been a fan since '04 and have downloaded all the leaked albums but I also snatched up the CD and vinyl editions as soon as they came out. I dunno, I just don't think a leak will take all that much money away from them. Even in the event that a curious listener downloads it on a whim, they'll probably either like it and buy more material or they won't do anything.
Maybe I just hold too much faith in the non-record-buying public? 
If it weren't for my 13-year-old (at the time) self downloading Hostile Ambient Takeover and consequently discovering (and spending plenty money on) one of my favourite bands, I doubt I ever would have gotten into them some other way.
