Wondering what comes next

As much as I dig Toshi and the Sound of Sirens setup, I would love to hear them work in a different setting with another engineer for a record or two.
The surprising elements of recent albums are the lineups and concepts - sonically they all appear the same to me (acoustic stuff obviously excluded).

Solid home studios are great, but it has become one giant comfort zone.
