This one is from NYC and is genuinely MESSED UP. In a good way.
Hazelmyer thinks they sound like Brainiac, and I can see it. They've had a new album ready for forever, but it still isn't out.
I am sure it will RULE when it is.

Hell yes! That is so awesome of you to say, thank you so much.
Protons and Electrons was an experiment to just try all of these different kinds of songs and just GO. Whatever they did they had to do it in the space of a single and just do it and get the hell out. Weird, poppy, raucous, relaxed. Whatever!
I was interested in seeing if people balked at that, but it seems like the folks that gave it a try mostly got what we were throwing down, so that's always nice to see.

New record comin'. We actually tracked this in early 2019, and were going to release it earlier this year, as we all know. Stuff happened (tm)

It's a record with an overarching theme of living and dealing with depression and imposter syndrome and we feel safe in saying that's something many of us can relate to.

Alright, I think this is where i'm keeping all NeutronFriends stuff, and I searched around and didn't see it anywhere else.
So yeah, bumping this. Melvins related because Toshi producing and (duh!) Dale on drums.

I made a post about Dark Passengers already, but that record (put out by Learning Curve records) has either already shipped or is in the process of shipping.

There's a lot of heavy riffs, but it is a different kind of record, and we are pretty psyched about it. Of course, we didn't expect to be sharing it during a global pandemic but here we go.


If you are interested, buying a copy on bandcamp (digital, cd or LP) is always nice, but listening is free as is spreading the word. We're also running a special where you can get all 4 cds for $25. Which I think is a great deal (personally). That's just until the end of the month though.
Sorry, no way we can do that on the vinyl, shipping costs are already bonkers.

FWIW, this is the dark and introspective record, but both Impossible Task and Misery Machine are two of the hardest bangers I think we've done... your mileage may vary.
