i hope someone will put up a decent review, cause all i can say is wow. just wow. i think tonight was probably the best time i've EVER seen em. i was right in front so my ears are bleeding...eye flies was amazing, and dear god boris. i can die with a smile on my face. there was a little technical difficulties with buzz's mic and then dale's monitor so buzz seemed a little annoyed, but they where still having fun.
i got to go to bed.
the cd's where $40 bucks the art is beautiful on 'em, as are the posters.
just a wonderful night.
oh ya i got a few shitty pictures on my phone that i'll put up tomorrow.

ya there wasn't enough room for the drums to be side by side so dale and coady faced each other, so it was really cool watching how they communicated. buzz and jared stood behind the drums.

all he said is true , i was front left(from melvins perspective) and got the new BB songs on video and eye flys video and some good pics. Even met and chatted with the melvins ,BB and brian at the hotel, some were off to the twins game(buzzo toshi) b4 the show at 11.
Melvins VS Minneapolis cd rules , 11 total shows on 3 disks , all for 40. Brian Walsby was there selling original art and signing it , super nice guy.
Dale and jered hung out after the show and visited with everyone , seemed like a small party with the melvins. Cant thank tom hazelmeyer(Haze) enough for helping me out with tickets!!!

Great, great show. Buzz did indeed seem a bit irritated at the mic problems (which is understandable) but he and the other three rolled with it really well and delivered a hell of a show. Fucking awesome. Great to see how well Dale and Cody work together. Really magnificent. A very special show.
Purchased the Melvins Vs. Minneapolis set and am very impressed with the material. However, my audio cds have glue/rubber cement blotches from the slip case sleeves. This really disappoints me, espescially since I payed forty bones for them. Does anyone have any asuggestions for cleaning the discs without ruining them? The glue crud is rather tenacious and water doesn't seem to do the trick. Any hints at cleaning discs?

i had the same problem, the glue wipes off pretty easy, you just need a little elbow grease, and tender love. although rereading your post i didn't have "blotches" just a little around the edge so it came off fairly easy. the last sleeve in the set wasn't sealed so that's where the glue came from :? so i just pinched it shut and they seemed to seal just fine.
thanks to whomever changed the date in the thread topic...every time i looked at 7\02 i'd feel stupid.

no they did that last year when they had the 'grumpy's bash' thing, every other year it has been inside on their tiny stage, they would have been able to sell way more than 200 tickets if it was outdoors again
i noticed some exposed adhesive on the packaging but none on the discs.
Try 90% rubbing alcohol and a non abrasive cloth.

I am such an idiot dumb ass. I have known she was going to be in Minneapolis for a long time now. BUT since I was in North Carolina at the time selfish me thought "Wow, I can't make it to Grumpy's this year so mheh." Then I realize later and make the connection that SHE could have gone, and then she even said that she definitely would have. #-o :( I could have planned this if I would have thought it out more carefully. It still would have been cool for her to go to such a special show. Then when I say I'm traveling to Grumpy's in the future she would know why the hell I have to go. Oh well whatever. :lol:

What an awesome show this was, I was happy we made the trip down from Winnipeg for it, It was my first time seeing the Melvins/Big Business. They were freakin awesome. Picked up two copies of the new melvins vs MN cd for my collection and a few other cds as well, ended up getting the grumpys poster as well. Here's a couple pics my buddy got.. Im waiting on getting the hi res copies off his camera. He got a bit of vid as well when they soundchecked civilized worm..
