Hey all... First post here... anyways, this was my first time seeing the Melvins(long-time fan) and all I can say is WOW.....Instantly moves in to my top 5 shows of all time. They sounded super tight and the two drummers melt my face off. The new Big Business songs sound awesome as well... there's one that sounds like he's sayin' "catch, mice"...that totally ruled. Fucking Boris is soooooo epic live. That is all for now... :P
you're welcome!glad to see the appreciation of the new line up is growing more and more
solid show. I took some photos which surprisingly turned out pretty cool.
got some weird effects I didn't plan on by getting slammed into on the floor, hitting the dial on my camera.

I thought he said
"Cats"!
"Mice"!
not sure of the song.
**EDIT
Now that I think about it, your probably right, as I believe the next line is "Caught in their own device". So Catch Mice makes more sense.

i know you can mount them with a cowbell mount. have you tried that?
yeah i'm wondering if it is mounted on the snare, kick or what. I can almost tell in that picture of Coady.
looks like it is mounted via the high hat.....
My photos aren't as good but here's a few:

Great show, I might do a review later but I'm tired....
buzz ain't playing his usual lp. perhaps a broken neck?
I too noticed that...it was the lack of the markings behind the tailpiece that mad me realize it..I've always really liked his sunburst lp too but nothing beats his black beauty..I believe the one he is playing has a replaced/modded Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge position..maybe it's a special guitar for the down tune on Boris?..maybe it's what he used in the studio?..maybe he doesn't like to detune the one with the stock Gibson pu's as much as needed for boris?..I believe he used his stock Black Beauty at Jello's birthday but I think I've been seeing this other similar Black Beauty this tour..

I remember talking to Dan at the GAMH shows, and he mentioned that the neck on that guitar ( the black LP used at the Jello shows) had been broken 7 times. It looked it. It was held together with what looked like a massive amount of superglue, or some sort of adhesive. Maybe it broke again.

You forget, Coady is left handed so that's either coming off the floor tom or the ride stand. Good spot though, at first glance it looks like the bass drum.

Yea, that's DEFINITELY not the black beauty from the metalkult interview...
he said he always carries two lp's on tour.
I must say the sound in the high noon was fantastic. you could hear every note, it was great. probably one of the best sounding places ive ever seen a show in. My buddy got a couple pics of Dale and someone correct me if Im wrong but Tim moss? opening the show. crazy show.. well worth the drive!
