Page Hamilton of Helmet, King Buzzo of the Melvins, John Tempesta (White Zombie/Testament), Mike Inez (Ozzy Osbourne, Alice In Chains), Blasko (Rob Zombie) and many more will be taking part in the upcoming Kiss tribute album, "Spin The Bottle - A Tribute To Kiss". The outing will see a release through Koch on April 27th and will feature a bonus DVD chronicling the recording sessions for the effort.
Just jokes my friends... Buzzo is the man!
is he going to record something new for that tribute album?
"Going Blind" - but it's credited to King Buzzo, not Melvins, so I don't know if it's a new version.

Yes, of course. I remembered wrong. But I prefer "God of Thunder" to "Going Blind".

i don't love them or hate them i guess, i have rock and roll over and dressed to kill on vinyl that i got at a garage sale back in middle school. admittedly i don't play them more than twice a year on average. Sometimes it's easy to listen to stuff like that when your parents listened to it when you were younger, for instance i have a special place in my heart for van halen's 1984, even though as a whole i hate van halen and all that they stand for.
i can relate totally man! i took my dad's copy of RocknRollover!
AND his copy of Double Platinum (the gatefold still had traces of
white powder and bits of pot )

:P

I got this CD and it sucks MAJOR! King Buzzo's version of God of Thunder is b-o-r-i-n-g compared to the Melvins version. Lame.
Page Hamiltons Calling Dr. Love is down right pityful.
I only just realised that Buzz doesn't play guitar on this at all. Just vocals. That must have been weird for him.
Same with the "Poison" track on Wayne Kramer's first album.

"God Of Thunder -- Buzz Osbourne Bruce Kulick Blasko Carmine Appice"
The preview sounds pretty sweet. I'm not used to hearing wild solos and Buzz.
