Hey, remember that contest most of us entered for the Melvins box set that was won by retards with their comedy answers? Well not to be bitter, but im still a bit annoyed that I wrote out a nice paragraph when all that had to be said was a sentence about farting. So how about post your reasons and favorites here where they can actually be appreciated and answers that sound like "I like Hag Me cuz once i drank a bottle of Jack Daniels and threw up all over my friends pants while listening to it, lolz." won't be legitamite. I'll post mine when i decide a favorite between the Bloat, Zodiac and Revolve.. and when i have some time to think my answer through.

yeah, i was annoyed by that contest, too. it wasn't as if i spent money or a lot of time on my entry or anything, but i at least had hoped the winner would have written something actually good. it just goes to show the effect the internet has had on people's standards.

I have to say that I didn't write a 100% serious entry either, but i did put some thought into it. It was quite hard to choose a song in the first place and so I came to the conclusion that it's pretty much impossible for me. In the end I went with Black Bock and wrote how the composition of good and evil really moves me or something to that extent. I suppose it was lacking the "true Melvins spirit", oh well
