That's a good writeup Krist, but NWB has been out since last summer. What took you so long?
Awesome! long overdue props.
It's cool to see how these people where involved so much with one another. Thanks for this really cool post.
After a kiss and make up, say hello to the new Melvin's bass player and second drummer Krist and Dave.
Oh I'd be all for it if he had the chops, but does he now??

does he now?!? did he ever?? I got absolutely nothing against nirvana. but if you're trying to tell me krist or dave are cut out for a spot in the MELVINS I say negative.
dave maybe.. once... a long long time ago. krist... oh hell no. name me one bass line in any nirvana song that compares with anything mark d, joe p, kev r, lori b, trevor d, or jared w ever did.
but I do tip my hat to dave's drumming. when he plays he plays HARD. my guess is he takes that from the lord and master dale crover himself.
Well, maybe Buzz could write the songs and have Krist play along.
It's a shame they didn't get him to play on SLTS off Crybaby.

in a way I'm glad they didn't. I took that cover as completely tongue-in-cheek sarcasm. especially with leif garret on vox. I think leif didn't even realize he was spoofing himself.
if they would have involved krist I would have been forced to take it slightly more seriously.
and thats not good.

Forgot to include Matt L in that list.
Novoselic was a competent bass player but probably not cut out for the Melvins, I agree.
heck.. why not throw in billy A as well? :)
And David S S.
Gene Simmons.

Gene Simmons.
Just think of what Gene could do for the already crazy world of Melvin's merchandising.
