I just read pretty interesting interview with Dale and Coady in the issue of Drum magazine with Slipnot's drummer on the cover. maybe 2 pages, with pics from the rehearsal space. it also has a diagram of the combined kit they share with measurements and names of the shit they use. Apparently they use something called "the snail". It was funny to see a pair of gardening gloves on both thrones in the diagram and they are detailed too with the brand name and shit.
they comment on each others style a little.
Show us, please!
yeah? scan it and post it, armo! we need this! I wish I could afford Paiste cymbals.

My friend maxed out his credit card just to buy the 2002 (or whatever) Paiste ride. I'll be damned though if that isn't the greatest ride ever.
i was killing time at guitar center while my friend was taking care of customers, or what i like to call "slowly running mom and pop stores out of business"
i didn't buy it.
I actually bought this issue for a buck when I was in the drum store buying a cymbal today. I'll scan and post it tomorrow when I get to work...

Paiste cymbals are the only thing I'll buy.

oh god no! you better get me the link fast!
Great interview! First band I saw live, with 2 drummers: Joe Walsh! It was in '91 and he was headlining a radio station "festival" concert. The drummers had the same setup and were playing the exactly the same beats. It was sapping all of our attention. All anyone could do was ask each other " what the hell is this all about?". I've seen Dale and Coady 5 times, now. Never gets old! Gardening gloves, indeed! 8)
no more gardening gloves with flowers on them :(
Thanks for the scans! Good read.

Yeah, Dale has been wearing regular drumming gloves, and Coady's not wearing any gloves anymore!
