Sorry for the post just on this question. Maybe others are interested too...
What has been the set time more or less so far for the Melvins when they are on w/ Down? Not interested in any other bands...
45 minutes
Actually meant what time they would go on. I know it could vary from venue to venue but on a tour like this it's most likely around the same time, more or less.
First two bands got 30 minutes each, with about 15 set up time between bands.....roughly 1 1/2 hr after start time I'd say.
In Seattle I missed the two openers, but the ticket said show time was 8:30 and the Melvins started playing about 9:50.
Last night (San Diego) doors opened at 5:30, show at 6:00. Weedeater at 6:00. Danava at 7:00. Melvins at 8:00. Down at 9:15. It was at the House of Blues so consider they are pretty strict about times. Hope this gives you an idea about what to expect for your show times.

How was the show?
This is nice for a change. From the Rochester Armory website. Usually the times are never posted like this:
Sept. 16
Down
6-11pm
Doors 6:30 Evil Army 7pm, Weedeater 7:45, The Melvins 8:30 "Down" 9:45
Tickets available at Aarons Alley (Tel: 585 244 5044) and Ticketmaster
I might stick around for a few songs of Down's set.

How was the show?
I am curious about that myself. Going to see them at HOB down in Orlando on Wednesday and would like an idea of what to expect(not that it matters).
