You fuckin know it pal. Their drummer (King) just posted this on their forum. I just bought my ticket. If you live in those cities I highly recommend going to the box office. The rape fees were off the chart.

really stoked for this, i'll be at the SF show.
Fuck Sakes! They gotta join the whole Surfers tour! Fuck this Down Syndrom and Corky Anselmo Life Goes On Tour bullshit ... Jesus! Melvins & Butthole Surfers? Thats' a Tight Fit Sister!! I got tix for Butthole's in Toronto & Detroit ... just thinking what could have been ... what should be ... breaks my little heart ... It'll probably spiral my acid soaked head into a bad trip ...
I'm finding tix prices anywhere from $54-$164.......any idea what the box office price is? For San Fran?

he better the fuck film if he goes!
or anyone that does from here for that matter
i'd pay about anything to see the show.
what would be awesome would be if they all combined to do eachothers shit.
i would looooooove to hear gibby sing some melvs (i could hear him doing wicked vocals for let it all be, skin horse, lovely butterflies, boris, fucking ANYTHING)
and with 4 drummers (that's if teresa's still playing for them) this is like my wet dream.
and then think about what melvs could do for their stuff!
well anyway, that's a killer gig even if they don't do that, but i would hope they would take advantage of it, atleast one song, like cherub.
you west coasters are fuckin' spoiled with terrific shows!
like they're going to allow filming.
come on people! its not "hole-in-the-wall bar" we're talking about. its a theater. no way do they let cameras in.
plus gibby is a little pissy about camcorders.
i sat sneak it in.
Wow. Count me in.
Do people in CA realize that means in just days of each other:
The Jesus Lizard
No Means No
Melvins/Butthole Surfers
I mean holy f'n shit...talk about the best of the best live bands ever...
AND SOMEHOW THEY DO NOT ALL CONFLICT WITH EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah, great news. whatever.
Holy moly macaroni! When I got divorced back in the 90's that was one of the splits! I reluctantly gave up the Melvins music and kept the surfers stuff. Since then I have gladly contributed to rebuild my Melvins collection. When did the surfer's get back together? Is this a reunion tour? Is there some new music? I've been out of the butthole loop for a while.

so you're telling me you fought with your ex over individual band and genre cd's?
talk about animosity! no, not the album. the emotion.
PS: reunion tour with the old school 5-piece. king, theresa, paul, jeff and gibby.

They've been back with their original 80s line up for over a year now, toured Europe twice as well as a handful US dates last year. I saw them in New Orleans last fall. The show was kick ass, back to their shows they used to do back in the day minus the naked go go dancer and fire. Well there's not much they can do about the fire stuff. That's not their fault.
Actually it was a peaceful negotiation, we both knew we were in the wrong place. At the time, the Melvins and the Surfer's were both of our faves, so as with any possession, we split them up fairly. Anyhoo, I can't believe this about the surfers! I saw Melvins in New Orleans last fall, I wonder by how much I missed the Surfers. I'm getting so psyched up about the upcoming Baton Rouge show. Does anyone think I'll get beat up for wearing a homemade Brooks and Dunn tee shirt?
