yeah, might have been in a mark d interview, but i remember reading that as well.
Wasn't dale meant to be doing drums on some pop type album or maybe it was like PJ Harvey's a few years ago now, I think I read this somewhere...but the producers turned down the recording because it was "too heavy".

I would like to see Mackie play bass on a Melvins album just for shits and giggles. Although in an interview I read with her the reason she gave for her and Buzzo not playing together was "We've played together some, not much. He plays too fast and too many weird time signatures for me. I can't keep up."

"hoch zeit" directed by paul poet. says the melvins make a cameo in this and they are mentioned on the soundtrack, but not featured.

That's "La Foresta Della Morte" where Joe contributed a version of "Obolus" - and it's on Toyo Records. He also contributed "The Walk" for "Charm" soundtrack on 5 Rue Christine Records.

You don't hear two guitars on You Lied? I remember the typos from when I got the set, and they posted about it on their website. I know they recorded You lied while on tour with Melvins too. No Quarter was recorded in a studio, so they probably overdubbed guitars. Listen to You Lied again, one guitar's playing the lead, and the other is Buzz.
Tom Flynn (owner of Boner Records):

- Was a member of Tapeworm that released a 7" in 1978
- Was a member of Safety Patrol (that never released anything)
