The claim was that Ler spent all the money he made off Pork Soda, which sold quite well, on Peruvian flake. This was a joke initially made by Les Claypool in an interview many years ago. Then a couple years ago Prawn Song, Les's label, decided that not only was the joke not funny anymore, but it also was, despite its origin, materially offensive and thus warranting of a yearlong boot from the Primus board. Many lives were lost in the ensuing purge, and "Ler does coke" mutated into a sort of in-joke among the bullboard exiles; one such exile even registered the URL http://www.lerdoescoke.com.
They tried to make Buzz go to rehab but he said NO No No. I don't think its a surprise ler spent all his money on coke, id do the same thing.

I would completely recommend reading 'Rokkos Adventures - Melvins Edition' ; it's a fascinating read written by a fascinating guy on a fascinating subject and got me through this bullshit called christmas without having to get off the sofa. Of course, it could be argued that any of the information therein is none of our 'business'; if that were the case, we would never learn anything and life would be a lot less fun.

if Buzz went to rehab, good for him. as long as he keeps putting out good music, the man's PRIVATE life does not really concern me. I did find the Courtney Love blog an amusing read however; like she would really throw good heroin down the sink?
i wonder if thats why they have been through so many bass players. because they want to live the "rock and roll" life style and buzz just aint down with that
