Yea i was in the room for the Buzz interview that was some funny shit.The comment he made about Paul McCartney having so much cash he could have afforded a whole wife was nice

i got a couple of quick shots of Buzzo when i was walking into the 2nd room for Dead Meadow...talked w/ him briefly and he was really nice.

and apparently pitchfork.tv had a hotel room set up for some video recording of bands...a friend of mine caught the Melvins playing "Kicking Machine" in that room w/ about 3 other people. awesomeness.

one of these days i would love to see/shoot the melvins at a venue w/ a balcony, so i could get some good shots of Dale and Coady...from the front, they are virtually hidden by their kits.
i got repeatedly crushed @ the barricade by some douchebag directly behind me, and ended up having to grab my camera shit and bail out. but it was worth the punishment to get some good shots of Buzzo and Jared.

unfortunately the Melvins played House of Blues in Boston on Sunday when I was still up in NY, so I missed it...they do have two different balconies which provide excellent vantage points.
yeah, that is my music room...that photo is a couple of years out of date. i need to take another shot. a lot more LPs have been added to the collection.

The Paradise in Boston....I loved filming from the balcony. You feel like your right on top of them.
You can get kind of a feel of it from my vid. I was zoomed most of the way out at the beginning and I zoom in a few times. you can see how close you can get.

nope, never shot in San Fran. i'm based in Boston, and hence most of my shoots are local. i've been down to NYC a couple of times @ the Masonic Temple (Neurosis, Throbbing Gristle), and also for the Scion Rock Fest in Atlanta. i was gonna go to Roadburn in Holland this year but couldn't swing it.
