no numbers is a much cooler place.  saw many a good shows there since the late 80's.  too bad the melvins are not playing there like they did in the 90's.  would rather see them there than the warehouse.

Really? I dig the Warehouse, but the one time I was at Number's it sucked. For Mayhem last year. It was fine for Mayhem, but the sound guy must've had shit in his ears or something because every single opener suffered from HORRIBLE sound. Withered especially, I couldn't hear a damn instrument their entire set, nothing but feedback. And not the intentional kind.

If anything Numbers was making me consider the Melvins show intead. But they do come every summer and I've got to see them before, who knows when Obituary would be back.

Man, I'm bummed that wasn't available in San Diego.

When I asked Meg, and she said, "not yet". I made sad face...  :(

yea looks similar to the one posted. opened with sacrifice.  It was two hours mang, can't rememeber it all lol. They also played some stuff I didn't know on the second set. But with such a vast back catalog, that isn't hard.

also, no idea on the posters......but the merch lady was hot and plays bass.

fuck yeah...that was awesome.  i had not peaked at any set lists for it to be a surprise and I was very pleased.  Best I've seen them play yet.  SKIN HORSE now that was awesome best old song they have played yet, follow by AMAZON.  Was that a KARP cover?  Sounded familiar.  Jared and his space bass and space man pimp  mu-mu is to cool.  Also the new songs sond great. i have not heard the new album nor listened to the samples but I like them.

Who has not gone yet is in for a treat.

I liked how as Dale left the stage he turned and gave us a sad wave.

I'll get around to posting the audio in a week or so.

just AMAZON, no amazon (keeping fingers crossed for future).  It was pretty heavy with the double drums.

Though I thought I heard all of AMAZON...perhaps I'm wrong. I still think that it was the whole thing.

The kid is sick, so I went ahead and tracked and posed this.  I have not really listened to it other than split the tracks, hope it sounds good.

Anyone feel free to post and share (please not  mp3s!) so the peeps that are not on dime can get it if they want.

Same set list in baton rouge.  I must admit i saw a copy during the 2nd set and still could not recognize lovely butterfly.  There was a bad a** triple drum outro.  Cody was climbing all over the drums.

Thanks for this recording man.

I've got a question for ya'll. Is this what the melvins vs mlps cd's soundlike? Apparently recorded in the same manner. I find this recording acceptable and enjoyable.  Just wondering because I've been trying to find a copy but not sure if i should pull the trigger. Lots of peeps bitched about the sound quality on the cd's and i'm not sure what they meant or what they where expecting.
