Oct 4. in SLC?! Sweet!
Hopefully headlining and not opening for some crap metal band again (Down).
This plus the San Jose show are gonna make my year!
I hope they come to louisville or near it again. I really want to see them with this crazy set they got going on...
In a recent interview Buzz said Western US Fall tour, so probably no East Coast dates.
Unless there's an eastern canadian date I don't even want to fucking hear about it.

Dear Melvins,
In leiu of my birthday, I kindly request that you play a show in AZ between 10/6 - 10/11. I, in turn, promise to spend plenty of cash at the merch table, and will be forever grateful for having the honor of witnessing such spectacularness that is the Melvins.
Long Live King Buzzo!
Amen

It's too bad the Melvins are boycotting Arizona.

While Melvins aren't on that list......I think those bands are hurting themselves more than anything. I don't agree with the law, but they're screwing their fans over for something they probably had nothing to do with.
Idle's right, it's bullshit! Our governor is tampon for signing it into law, it was never even put in front of the people of this state to vote on. It's a travesty, and no one wins in the end. It's a shame that bands will "boycott" the state, when they should, in fact, be playing impromtu shows in front of the state capital in protest.

RATM and Michael Moore are uninformed about something? Get out of town!
But seriously, I hope the good bands don't boycott your state.

you are the bearer of good news!
Very stoked for the Slim's show.
Hell's Kitchen? Hells yes! Haven't seen 'em there since the HAT tour. Might just have to make that show.
fuck yes. totally going to rjat show.
vinneys webster hall tape is legendary
AZ is performing the job that the Federal government is refusing to do. Whether it's PC or not, profiling makes sense. Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow and sometimes we have to make hard and unpopular decisions. These bands have every right to boycott, but my opinion of their boycott is low. And I have a feeling that Buzz would agree with AZ in protecting its citizens and state sovereignty.

Awesome. I love the Capitol Theater. Have they even played there since the 05 Jello tour? I don't think they have.....not that I can remember.
Finally! The Melvins are playing my backyard....SLO CA. Slo Brew. The closest they usually come is Santa Barbara. This is going to be sweet!

I'm pretty sure you're right. The closest they've come to Oly since the 05 Jello show was the back to back shows at Hell's Kitchen in Tacoma around the time that ASA came out. And yeah, the Capitol Theater is a great place to see shows, though they are sort of rare these days. I'll be going there Sunday night to see a show.
Any word on Portland???? I'm pretty sure they have a good following here.

Portland is a go. The Roseland 9/24/10. Ended up missing the first few songs of the Eugene set, so this is a no brainer for me.
Tickets for the Roseland go on sale on Saturday.
