I'd really like one of these although anything over around $200 would be foolhardy of me to buy at the moment. Assuming there are at least five people here who want one, if you let it be known who you are, maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement here and not bid against each other. I'm assuming that all four remaining test pressings will get onto Ebay (the fifth is staying with Haze at AmRep).
e***a (score 359) will bid up to $500 on #2 as they did on #1 so I guess those two are out of bounds.

it's a shame they would allow stuff like this to happen. it really makes me think less of you guys (amrep, oxop, melvins, etc.) at least allowing a buy it now for a certain price...or a raffle....but really....let these guys drive the bid up to almost 1000 bucks so far? absurd, but i am entitled to my opinion and opinions are like assholes....everyone has them. goodluck. If this "stuff" didn't happen the general vinyl release wouldn't happen. How the fuck do you think the mastering, pressing, and art is getting paid for? No one has a "right" to any of these and the buyer drives the market.

that artwork is sick...i might have to splurge my Christmas bonus on this. but by the looks of these auctions i doubt i'll get one. i don't have that kind of money to burn. plus i need some drum equipment.
maybe this will be like the A Senile Animal box-set and more will "magically" show up.

Ok then, I deleted my post. But I've never been a Haze sycophant and probably never will be.
Obviously his heart is in the right place, and he has given the Melvins a home in their fallow periods,
but he just doesn't bring it graphically, in my opinion. Different tastes I guess.
I mean, if you're going to hand stamp a cover, at least sketch out the bands name in pencil before you
start carving the lino, so you don't have to drop a character when you realize you've run out of space
halfway thru.
Having said that, if his efforts result in a proper vinyl release of The Bride, then I will be among the first
to buy one. I know it's odd for a moderator at this site to express opinions contrary to the status quo,
