Title: Melvins New Zealand interview available on line
Post by: mduda on January 31, 2011, 04:59:24 PM
Hi folks,

I had the good fortune to interview Dale Crover in anticipation of The Melvins' New Zealand tour. You can listen to the unedited phone conversation on my website...www.13thfloor.co.nz (http://www.13thfloor.co.nz)
Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers,
Marty

So Buzz says if he didn't write another song he'd have enough material for at least 4 more albums?  That's great.

So they only sold 3,000 copies of "Bride"? That's shockingly low... (not that I had any idea of sales figures of any Melvins album). That would make Melvins.net members a significant market for future releases.... maybe a future special boxed set or whatever should be targeted specifically to us?  :P

3,000 was back when the album came out.  Who knows how many they've sold since then.

"It achieved this feat by selling just 2,809 copies of "The Bride Screamed Murder," its 19th album. With another 2,000 units, they would have breached the top half of the chart. "  June 13, 2010
