Great show.  Began with the Lysol/Eggnog stuff, short break and into Houdini.  The Crocodile is a tiny venue, but the sound was excellent.  Pretty easy going crowd until Hooch and Honey Bucket were played back to back.  Then it was like everyone's drunk took hold.  Dillard came out to play drums on Spread Eagle Beagle.

Tons of merch.  The new boxset was $50 and they had 50 total.  Show poster, Black Betty poster, 2 brand new shirts, and the three skulls shirts.  Black Betty 7 inch, TBSM 12 inch, 1 limited edition poster out of ten total of TBSM that went for $200.  Someone bought it. Probably something else, but I forget.  I'm tired and sober.  Time to head out on the town.

merch guy said it was a tour only version of TBSM vinyl.  hope so.  that artwork was sick.  i almost wanted to drop the $200 for that but didn't feel like waiting in line again.  oh well, i got my fix on merch and Melvins.  can't wait for tomorrow!!!

Sounds like there's some nice swag to be had! I don't suppose someone has a picture of what the new shirts look like?
I'll be after persuading someone to get me some of these treats!

The line lasted for over an hour. Box sets were gone quickly. I watched the guy buy the $200 1/10 LP.

You can see the LP in the picture left of Bride. Is there any truth that the TBSM LPs are residency tour only? No time to check it out now.

if they have that TBSM 1/10 edition tonight, i'm going to try and snag it.

when i bought the other copy i asked the merch guy what edition it was and he just said they had this batch specially made for the tour only.  maybe he was just being a salesman, but he already had my $$ at that point.

Wife's mother passed last night so i'm back home now, she's not here so I need to find her.
I'll post more pics later. Saw Idle and woman, Bad and woman, Spicoli (who ended up at Harborview), Smellis, Rhett and some cool dude from Victoria to name a few.

Who's Spicoli?  Is that the guy who landed on the back of his head right in front of me and was knocked out for a while?  Sounded like someone dropped a coconut.

Your footage from this night is shot from a similar spot as a friend shot from the 2nd night.
He actually shot from the balcony the 1st night just like you did on the 2nd...go figure.

Do you have both sets from both nights? I'm pretty sure he does.

What did you use for an audio source for these clips?
They sound great. That can't be from internal cam mics, can it?

I filmed from the floor the first night as I could not get a spot in the balcony.  I saw him filming right below me.  It was exactly where I stood on the first night.

I use this mic    http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Microphone-DCR-HC96-DCR-DVD305-Camcorders/dp/B000AMACDI/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1306018119&sr=8-10 (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Microphone-DCR-HC96-DCR-DVD305-Camcorders/dp/B000AMACDI/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1306018119&sr=8-10)

It has a seperate left and right mic built in, and the camera can record the audio in 5.1 surround.  So if someone behind me to my left yells, it comes out of the rear left speaker of my surround sound.

Excellent..that explains it.
I've been using the same Sony ECM-909 mic for 20 years now and it never ceases to amaze me.
