A fork lift hit the Bride LPs and 11 were damaged. Haze says he glued one togeter and it's on his wall. 10 LP's had damaged covers only. He did artwork and they are $200 a piece. Available at the shows. Each city has a set amount of swag.

Would this man lie to you? I think not.
That Haze artwork advertising the 45's sold for $14.00 the price of a Bushmill's and 16 oz PBR.
I was wondering what the $200.00 12" was that I saw in the review thread.. Thanks for the info. That's a creative way to handle a potential disaster..
Did they have the tri-color 7" there?

He looks like he's sitting on a toilet.
Anyone have more information on this version? What's the edition size? He's selling 10 damaged copies for $200 each. I really like this version but I'd rather get one that isn't damaged.

Edition of 100, same as the other Bride letterpress versions.

The fork lift operator punched into the box holding the Bride LPs. 11 where damaged. Of all the vinyl only one broke into pieces. So Haze had 10 LPs without covers and one pile of wax. He glued together the one shattered LP and kept it. He made artwork for the other ten and that's his version of the incident.
If he tells you a different story in Chicago post it here.
I could now go into a complete new thread on forklift operation but I refuse to digress.

I'm curious to see what other story he tells the next person.
Thanks guys. If the edition is 100 I wonder why he only brought ten on the tour. I hope there's one left for the first Boston show.

There's 100 of the spider edition, and ten of the 'special' edition. The special edition has the Haze artwork.
Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up. I misread the above posts.

is that Haze?
Yes.
I picked this up in Seattle, first night of the Endless Residency tours. Pretty much my prized Melvins possession! The guy in front of me in the merch line was hemming and hawing about it with Haze and almost bought it. I got kind of lucky.

Congrats. Does it sound different, compared to the normal vinyl version?

No it's the exact same splatter print that came in the other Bride Screamed Murder LP's.
why does that Haze guy charge so much for Melvins releases? That's nuts
So he can buy pizza.
so he can pay for his manicures on his heavy banning fingers.
Love the Melvins, but I don't see why each individually printed album/box set/etc is really worth $200-$500 of labor. That's just ridiculous. Sorry.

It's not about the actual cost of putting it together, it's about perceived collector value and how much you can maximize your profit.
