Post by: Peoplespoet on June 25, 2011, 07:46:31 AM
How much would it cost to get the Melvins to play my Birthday party?  Would they?  Logistics?

Call their agent.  That's how you arrange things like that.

I seem to remember Buzz saying sometime that it would take about 4-5 grand, plus cover the costs of getting themselves and the equipment there.

I seem to remember the figure $5,000 which should be a paltry sum for you high rolling collectors on your parents dime.

That would be cool... We should all pool funds, and have a forum only private concert.. Then the problem is WHERE do we throw the concert?

    I say.. Albany, NY

Since most of the fans on here are either located in America or Europe i say hold it on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic.

i'd pay 100-250 bucks for a private concert!!
Think about it....we'll rent out a small place, an elks lodge or some shit. THEY WOULD BLOW THE F'IN WALLS apart.
I really wanna get this done!
100 people wouldn't get together and give a $100 to get a private melvins concert???
who cares if we overpay them, more incentive for them.
200 people@ $100 = $20,000
We could choose out own CUSTOM setlist!!

SHIT THEY HARDLY ever play. HAT shit, TRILOGY stuff, OZMA, GLUEY PORCH TREATMENTS!

They have websites that hold funds, i've seen them for fantasy sports.

I will travel to NJ, NY, Penn, Mass, Conn.

Peoplespoet, is your last name Spicoli and did you perform mouth to mouth on Ms. Shields?

If so, did you use a mouth barrier or guard?

I don't know where the 5K number is coming from since The Melvins thought they should be getting 5K in the late nineties.
