i agree with conda and dumpy,cassettes rule. i grew up listening to music on cassettes!
They don't get chewed up if you respect your player and clean the heads regularly.
I have 100's that still play as well as they did the very first day i bought them.

yeah, I have a sealed Stag Cassette with a sticker on the shrinkwrap with custom melvins art.
I dont have the balls to bust that wrapper.
I have GPT, It WAS sealed, I got Ozma, I got the Sealed deep six cassette (around the same time I got GPT on tape)

Yeah, I have those, hm Sealed they might still be ok, But Anything older than 20 years sealed could have printthough if it never got played.
not a big deal. but I mean, you probly wont have what it takes to break the seals on those tapes to find out. :P

Soo, Like...My melvins Lps Came, never ordered any records before, So It looks like they got shipped Ok.

no problems, I notice one of the albums has a bad spot on it, I think it got pressed that way, some of these presses were sketchy quality control.
they were fucking Dusty as shit though, and some had some dirt or other shit, definetly USED Near mint..not mint...but ok, passable.
as for that one spot, I remember the same flaw on the same song from when I owned another one a long time ago.
Regardless, it sounds GREAT on tape, I really think the 45 rpm is choice. Some of them are 33 and a half but I think it all fit ok on tape.
taped it on a Maxell XD11, and it sounds clean and loud, I just played them in order of the CD album except with all the B sides in between..sounds great!
I dont know what to do with them now except let them sit there with my melvins book for the time.
If you feel like sending me cassettes, I can be open to that.
I could even trade these too...mmmmhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :-k
