Title: Show #34 the District of Columbia, Black Cat

The Black Cat is Grohl's bar, and usually there is cool stuff going on. 14th and U St. used to be ground zero for prostitution in the Distric but the entire area is now rejuvenated.

A cool place to meet is Comet Ping Pong. A bar with good food.

Is that in Adam's Morgan? That's a bit of a walk from the Black Cat, or at least that's how it looks on google maps, and it's pretty chilly outside. Check your PMs. We might could work something out.

Started at Jake's, then the Comet, the Pilar, then all the other bars on 14th. I used to party on 14th and U St. Before the revitalization.

Black Cat crowd very mellow. got down front again. during the Tweek set Dale got on stage and then made them re-play the ending of a song. I guess he didn't think it was up to par or something. Cash only at the bar. After much discussion didn't get the DC poster. I had the Tweek vendor explain it to me. You hold it up in the light and the pink dollar bill says Melvins.
Sorry I didn't see it.

I thought it was a great set. I hadn't seen the lists for the other shows, so I totally geeked out at "Capt. Pungent/Berthas." Dale chewing out Tweak Bird (who were great) was high comedy.

Other highlights: "A Growing Disgust," "Holy Barbarians," and "Electric Flower," and "Goose Freight Train" (encore).

Hey Grim, were you and your bros over near Trevor's left? I thought I saw a couple guys who kinda sorta looked like they might be related but I wasn't sure. I was at front near Trevor but closer to the middle of the stage.

Damn, that barrel of waste poster has been around for a few years.  I love the "old tour poster pile" at shows.

Caleb's guitar is missing a string. It looks lke the guitar got dropped and broken, and he said, Fuck-it. I don't need that string anyway.

Hey, are you the guy in the leather? I remember I saw that dude in the crowd and was like, "Holy shit, is that Larry Lalonde?"
