Actually they talk about Lysol. From their website:
Stewart Voegtlin on what (or: who) made MELVINS' 1992 beercrusher "Lysol" the most unlikely religious record ever built, with art by Stewart's Chips N Beer mag compatriot Beaver...
Yep it's Lysol, a Joe illustration would make no sense in an Ozma review.
Does anyone other than me remember someone talking about making a book or something about the making of Lysol? It had to be here, on the forum, that I read that. The guy said he had interviewed Burnside, and maybe Anderson. Or maybe I'm imagining things.
Anyway, is this that?
Rev Mike was gonna write a 33 1/3 book about it but they passed. He still might write it, make sure to bug him about it.
Don't remind me of my shame.
The virtue is in the attempt, no shame bro.

Thanks for the pic. It's incredible!!
Thanks for the link. It's insufferable!!
Honestly, though, thanks for the link. I was very interested in reading the article. The writer, however, may have to pay a plumber's rate to have his head removed from his ass. That is some painful prose.

not a good fact-checker either...i'd already corrected him when he stated that Gluey Porch Treatments came out in 1989.
has anyone bought the magazine?
if yes, would it be possible to make a pdf of the lysol article and upload it here?
the issue is sold out by now. i did not order it because postage to europe was double the magazine's price.
