Well crap. Thanks for updating though.
Apparently the venues for the German shows has not been confirmed yet. I cross my fingers they wont be and that they'll decide to go to Copenhagen instead.
I cross my fingers.....
I'm pretty sure that there will be no Skandinavian dates, got this from very sure contacts. They said that the dates posted on www.ipecac.com are final. Go and see them in Amsterdam.
Whilst I'm thrilled to bits that the Melvs are playing over here (bought me ticket today, eeeeeeee!), I'm a bit disappointed that it's only the one show. The buggers've been touring non-stop in the US for an age now...still, I know my whining's pathetic when compared to that of our Scandinavian board members...

Thank god your finger crossing didn't help ;), so I can see the Melvins for the first time.

You can buy tickets at //www.kartenhaus.de. But the tickets for the Hamburg show still are not available. Even the venue Gruenspan (http://www.gruenspan.de/modules/programm/module_programm.php) hast not listed the Melvins gig yet. Anyway I will be in Hamburg :D.
WTF?!!
some dude said:
very bad news: ipecac, the label of mike patton where the melvins are signed, announced, that every concert melvins planned to play in the rest of the year are canceled. this is really true. the reason is illness of a member in the band. they also say: "We are hoping that the shows will be able to be rescheduled in the future."
source: www.ipecac.com
????????????????
is this true, or just the dude has a morbid sense of humor?
true, the shows are cancelled...
FOOOOOOOOOOOCK!

November 26th Mulhouse, FRA - Noumatrouf

bad news bad news ...
The Melvins will play in Middelburg, Holland on the 12th of november. They will play three soundtracks for the Cameron Jamie movies.
they will play in Paris on 11/06 too.
I'll be there with a taper
Just ordered my ticket for the Melvins. Total costs 20eu... But the venue they play is real cool. A room in a large church in the middle of Middelburg. The same room were there was a photo exhibition of Cameron Jamie last year. I'm really looking forward to this gig, because it is probably for one time and I don't know what to expect.

thats an awesome room to play. of course, it will have to be exorcised after the melvins are done conjuring demons from below.
And don't forget Vienna,
where they play the 10th November at 8.30 p.m. (sold out) and 11.00 p.m.
in the Gartenbaukino. A very old and big cinema (740 seats!) with a big screen.

i'll be there
WTF?
Hog Log, you bastard! Your response made me believe that this was a new thread...
Is Hog Log capable of travelling back in time? And at the same time change the fact that Rutmanis illness ended Melvins European tour before it started? I would love to get the same power. Think of the possibilities, you could experience every Melvins-gig again and again!
What's the news with this tour?? I've looked for the Mean Fiddler date and I can't see a thing. Help!
dude! look at the date! LAST YEAR! just about every show got cancelled, this is an OLD post!
Anyway London has already had the Melvins twice this year, one of which was the recent 'Houdini' gig....
both times were amazing but i wouldnt expect them back over here anytime soon.
Same with Fantomas for that matter.....won't hear anything out of them til at least 2007 i would guess
