I'm going to assume they're playing Melvins songs, not the Melvins playing at the venue.

Either way, sounds pretty cool.

I'll do my best to see if we can get some Melvins to play with the kids. I know Dale has played with the kids at the LA School of Rock.

Did he just say there's going to be a band of kids covering "Laughing With Lucifer at Satan's Sideshow," or did someone slip some LSD into my drink?

I was wondering the same.
Is it just a list of "Suggested Picks" as it were?

When the BHS did the shows with the School of Rock, there were around 20 kids and they would tag team in and out.  Paul and Jeff had some good stories.  My favorate was when they landed in Amsterdam the 5 Butts, all the kids, and the parents that came along were all in one bus.  They made the bus stop at a "coffee" house and the 5 Butts got off and went inside and got stoned while making the kids and thier parents wait on the bus for them.

There are about 20 kids on the show. The set my student made is not set in stone. I casted 10 songs yesterday. It's really difficult picking songs because there are so many good ones.

I'm pretty sure I'm making it to this show. how is it we verify our boardieness though? I'm guessing no one else will just be saying "I'm a boardie!" willie-nillie, but...

I actually am planning on going to one of SOR's camps this summer, so I'll be there then too.

Which camp? I'm directing three of them. You'll be fine getting the discount to the mevlins show. I'll just put out a call leading up to the show. Then I'll  make a guest list of the message board names who can make it.

They still got snow on the highest of summits even in summer, no?

No? Trade it in for a skateboard ...

No?

Okay fine but I'll be in the chalet in front of the fire, under a bear skin rug with a hot toddy and a hot bunny ...

That should be warm enough for my frozen ass ...

Just one thing Jules, kick the snow off your boots on your way in though.
