Documentary was awesome, lots of AmRep history and great stories about XXL as well as bands and band members. Melvins all throughout the film and a lot of focus on Cows, Helmet, H.O.F. & Unsane !
I got to meet Tom/XXL & the film makers earlier that day when they came to visit my store, Synesthesia, here in Baltimore...all really nice folks.
Oh yeah, got Haze to sign my Night Goat single !!!

Caught a screening last August.
Gotta say I didn't enjoy it that much. Since it was created by fans I would have expected it to sit less in the straight rockumentary lane.

Good to know. That's why I want to rent it first. I'm not sure if I would watch it more than once. I had to get a refund from amazon. Unfortunately, two people have wrote bad reviews because of the audio problem without actually seeing the movie. I'm curious to know what other people thought of it as well.
Got the soundtrack today and the DVD is arriving tomorrow, can't wait to see this film!!!

Yes the audio is indeed horrible.
I thought that was the sound system of the place that screened it though.
