Both bands killed of course. The club was small, a nightclub lounge actually inside a casino hotel. The show had been moved from the now closed bunkhouse which was also very small.
Before the show we drove past the backside of the hotel to go to a local brewery when I spotted buzz and the gang. As I passed I rolled my window down and yelled "the Melvin's suck" just to fuck with them, and buzz looked up smiling with a look of wonder and amazement, like a little kid in awe, I only wish I had a photo of this!
The stage was maybe 1/ft high. When Melvin's came out it was like buzz claimed the whole surrounding area and stood straight against us in the front almost hitting us with his guitar a couple times. I read before someone saying buzz had more energy recently and I agree, he was whipping his hair at us and stomping like he would 10+ years ago.
Everything else was the usual amazing display of heaviness.
The show ended with Jared crawling on the floor thru the crowd yelling and cutting peoples shoe laces with a pocket knife!
