Rad!!!!! Thanks man
Third melvins show this year, all different lineups. Didn't seem as strong as the other 2. Venue and sound may have been a factor and they were stuffed into a hour due to curfew so they were flying through the set. Was excited to hear revolve for the first time.

So when were the other two?

OK - is the song right after Eye Flys "Firehouse" by KISS? Sounds like that might be what Buzz is going into???
I am peeing myself.
Quick Review, Melvins headlined at neon reverb fest, which had many diff venues and bands each night.
1 hr set almost exact.
Big Business - great as usual, crazy loud, last song almost reached sunn level of drone/loud! Almost same set as last summer/fall west coast tour with melvins. Mostly newer stuff I think.
Melvins / steve mcdonald on bass. rough setlist from (sleep deprived memory) (not exact order)
eye flys
new/unknown/cover song (maybe red kross)??
magic pig detective
leech
bloated pope?
revolve
water glass
queen
sesame st meat
unknown cover (maybe red kross?)
halo of flies
I know I'm missing one or two, possibly from hold it in or nude with boots. Def NO night goat or YOA..
Like mentioned before they really flew through the set, but crammed a lot in that hour!
I really liked McDonald on bass. His style works great with the band! Lots of groove and kind of had a mark D feel! I even dig his butt-rock moves! Entertaining! I would really like to see them play some HAT and Maggot with this line-up!
Leech
i thought i had read they covered "Deuce" bu Kiss and "With your heart not your hands" by Malfunkshun

I bloody knew it! They can't drop it can they? They just can't!!
 it's not my favorite, but it's quite powerful live. You should go see them live some time. :P

If there's an award for a Melvins tune that goes from 100% awesome to really bad WITHIN the same song then 'The Water Glass' gets it.
You've been saying this for years. I think you're just cutting and pasting. =;

Ya, they go into Deuce after Eye Flys on that clip.
did they really play magic pig detective too? with the noise intro?
no noise intro unfortunately!
YES!!!!! DEUCE!!!!
So great that they are doing a KISS cover considering the history of Melvins and Redd Kross and their love of KISS.
I hope the other cover is a Redd Kross tune. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
And yeah, Steven McDonald is probably the closest to a Mark D type bassist we will be seeing these days. Which is great!!!
Get up! and get your grandma out of here.
"Deuce" was a staple of Redd Kross's set for years in the late '80s/early '90s. Probably still is. Can't wait to see Melvins crush it. Perfect song choice.

As I like to say "Written by KISS, made famous by Redd Kross!"
Goddamn did KISS ever rock once upon a time.

BOOM. the dude speaks no lies.
I am a nutball KISS fan and like albums from every era. But certainly the best of the best are the Kiss, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill, Destroyer, Rock and Roll Over, Love Gun and the Ace Frehley solo album.
