So i see that the Melvins tracks on this record are the Buzzo solo songs 'Dark Brown Teeth' and 'Rough Democracy'. Do you think they re-recorded them with Dale on drums?? Maybe even bass?

I really like this! It sounds like they added bass and drums over the original recording but it sounds top-notch, Dale and Steven in particular. Would love to hear Dark Brown Teeth as well!

Just got back from the show in Santa Ana. They had haze stag, glow in the dark cover red/white vinyl high desert 10", crystal fairy 7" and all the 16x16 posters for sale. Bad news is most were close to gone.....so hopefully no one Is expecting any to show up in pioneertown!

FYI to you OFF! fans- the tracks are live and are KILLER takes on the tunes. The sound quality isn't pristine (about the sam as the mudhoney split) but it's good for a live record and the band sounds great.
This was a dream split for me because Melvins and OFF! are basically my two favorite active bands.

Someone wasn't there to see how awesome their live show on NYE was. Easily the best set of the night and competition from Redd Kross and Off! was stiff...and yes that includes a song or two off of the last few albums.

I know Rough Democracy is on youtube and it sounds GREAT, but is there any way I can feast my ears on Dark Brown Teeth? Why don't they just release all the tracks on youtube? Since there's no longer a way to purchase these tracks legally, throw em up on youtube and get some ad revenue. You're not combating piracy, you're withholding music from your audience! Argh!
