Who's going? Made the trek over the pond for this one and looking forward to it greatly, even if the melvins are on first.
I will be there!
If you Paypal or Venmo me ahead of time, I can.
Does anyone have an extra ticket for this show?

Show was awesome. Got my stag limited edition. Thanks to sadcorps for coming thru with an extra ticket. Jon Theodore of the mars volta/ Queens of the stone age was out and about. Had to shake his hand. Super cool and nice guy. Hope I didn't bother him too much.
Can't wait for some pics vids and reviews
Woooooo Hooooooo!
The show was perfection. Great to meet Bedlam 120. Saw Der L up in front.
Melvins were ON FIRE. Steven has really boosted the "energy" level on stage, I have never seen Buzz smile so much and bounce around and rock out so much. You can tell that he really enjoys having Steven in the band. Plus having all their wives right off to the side of the stage I think kicked them into high gear as well!
Redd Kross were heavier than I have ever seen. Steven playing in the Melvins and boosted the heaviness level of Redd Kross by quite a bit (the heavy like The Who, not heavy like Sabbath).
I missed OFF! as my night was personally complete after Melvins and Redd Kross played. I did hear that they tore it up!!!!
Venue was PACKED. Ribs were stellar. It was raining hard in the desert.
Merch was High Desert Overdose 10" (2 versions, mail order version and special NYE only edition), High Desert Overdose Poster (with Haze in the house signing them), Prick Letterpress CD, COD Letterpress CD, Crystal Fairy 7", Haze Stag vinyl. I think that was it?
Anyway, perfect end of the year.
excellent.
thanks for the report.
sad i had to miss it.
nothing quite like a rock show in that little shack in the desert.
happy new year.........................................
Did Mario drum with OFF! or was Dale sitting in again like previously??

I guess Rubalcaba was present at all recent shows
So i take it that it was the same setlist as the few days before? No surprises?

No surprises. I haven't seen the Melvins change up a setlist from one show to the next since 1993. I wish they would though!!!!

Yup, Mario played and Off! Kicked some ass with a small pause in the set to celebrate the stroke of midnight with free cups of champagne being passed out by the Pappy & Harriet's staff. Speaking of which, the steaks were delicious!!
It didn't hurt that my wife and I were lucky enough to share a dinner table with Mario and his lovely wife before the show. What seemed like the entire McDonald clan were holding down a giant table next to us! I was barely holding my shit together, but Mario was super cool and friendly.
Was easily one of the finest Melvins performances I've ever witnessed, and I could barely see the band most of the set. They fucking nailed it.
Redd Kross were awesome, of course. They played Teen Babes from Monsanto in its entirety (which apparently Buzz had requested) and then 4 more covers. This was only the 3rd time they've played 'Savior Machine' by Bowie live. They played 'Dancing Queen' by ABBA, a Ray Davies song I didn't recognize, The Quick's cover version of the Beatles 'It won't be Long' and one I'm forgetting. Astrid and her boyfriend? joined them onstage for a Side Eyes song midway through as well.
I got to chat up sadcorps for a minute in the merch line, which was cool, especially since I didn't know it was him at the time. Amazing evening with a lot of very cool people, it really felt like a family event!
