Title: Thorough melvins discography
Post by: Bengerman on December 31, 2016, 09:00:44 PM
Does anyone know where to find an all inclusive Melvins discography? I'm talking every variation of cd, vinyl, cassette and whatever else they've released. Discogs is pretty good I guess but they don't seem to have everything.
It would be pretty cool if the melvins released another book similar to the t shirt design book but with every vinyl cd and tape release and all the variations. It doesn't really seem like something they'd do but then again it does.

You didn't mention this, but I'll just put it here.

Yeah the Melvins.net website discography is pretty good but it doesn't have all the weird different versions of things. For example it doesn't have anything about the cardboard sleeve editions of stoner witch and Houdini or the Mackie repurposed cover editions of stoner witch and Houdini. I like the simplicity of this one but it's not as in-depth as much is I'm looking for anyway.  I like the pictures that they have on discogs because sometimes it will show you the difference between something like a regular Maggot CD and a 2013 reissue Maggot CD by having pictures of the back and inner sleeves and not just the front sleeve.

You need to see Jules posts in the post your Melvins collection thread. He's the completist on this stuff.

completist is an understatement. He's building a time machine to go back and see every other shows he missed.  :P
