My literal response. Haven't seen them do At A Crawl since '94
Im intrigued to see how Dale approaches the drum solo trade off on his own in 'Evil New War God'. Have the band ever performed that one without Coady??

Should be cool, love that song. I'll refrain from youtubing it. Want to experience it live and new. Melvins weren't the first of their genre to cover this classic though. Scott "Wino" Weinrich has been playing it solo acoustic for last 8 yrs or so.

Ooh yeah, pumped on potentially seeing them play Let It Be live again. Don't know if I've seen them do that one since they toured for the early 00's trilogy of albums on Ipepac. Love the end of that song after the couple minute noise trip out in the middle of the track but know they won't perform that part of the track unfortunately.
Nice setlist, hasn't it been like 10 years since they have played The Talking Horse?

Somehow I was thinking they would have the two bass players standing together.
I always stand in front of the bassist. Guess I'll have to choose this time!

And looks great! Reminds me of the muumuus from the 2000 (or is it 2003?) show with Kevin and DSS.
I am amazed at the inclusion of At A Crawl and The Talking Horse.
And they perform them very well!
Great!
That kinda gives me hope Buzz might be willing to let the band try out some other songs strongly associated with specific bassists (Melvins 1983 stuff, HAT, Trilogy).
The high notes Steven adds into Let It All Be are beyond cool! :excited:
Now if only they played the second part of the song :(
With this setup they could easily figure out an awesome arrangement.
I guess Buzz just doesn't feel it would work live or something.
Come on...

Haha. It was actually a "suit." The t-shirt he wore under it said Punk Rock in glittery letters.

Pretty sure he wore that shirt when they played Grumpy's last year.
