Well some site did do a feature or a series of articles while the band were on tour a year or so ago using Buzz's photos. It's only the next logical thing to do to set up your own account and allow fans to see them for themselves.
His photography reminds me of this for some reason those were the days man...:

Oh man, that Vienna recording comes up every year or so and I want a decent copy of so bad!
My Melvins holy grail....
The bootleg of this would be fine no? It says there was only 40 copies. :(
Hasn't Buzz now worked with RockIsHell now? Wonder if there's a way they could re-release this. I'd love this on CD.

Yeah but I doubt he cares about stuff like that. He seems to think that as long as stuff is "out there" (e.g. on youtube) there's no need for it unless it's one of their Amrep repackages.
But there are so many rarities that they could throw into a box set or something that would be cool to have.
Wish they cared more about that stuff to be honest.

Isn't it basically a bootleg recorded to cdr?

yeah thats what I mean, I'm ok with a bootleg of a bootleg as long as it's ok for you to look the other way while I enjoy it for free.
If they released it back out in greater numbers, I'd buy it though.
This material is really something that shows off what they were all about live back then, they kept working on their set and doing different things and changing things around it was amazing they've done that where a lot of other bands Just do their same set every time.
Going back to Buzzo's Insta, i thought it was an interesting revelation to see that one of the people Buzz follows is Lamb Of God frontman Randall Blythe!! That's not something i would have expected! A potential collab there in the future?
I hope not. Randy seems like a nice enough guy and I enjoyed his book but LOG does nothing for me.

I saw them way back with the haunted and Dimmu Borgir opening up for Cannibal Corpse...weird lineup.
If this has become a Lamb of God thread...
I don't listen to them, but I remember being blown away by seeing this broadcast https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x474ml
You just don't see that kind of thing on TV and it was awesome.
i think it's great that Buzz is on instagram...read some comments saying that Dale should sign too but i think he already has an account
Lamb of god covered Honey Bucket, so maybe they became friends, he did golf with Fred Durst!
Their cover is stinking.

cool
following Buzz posts on instagram.. he's such a nice, down to earth guy. love to read his replies to the comments of his followers

And he's still posting.
Well... not really at the moment. In fact he hasn't put anything on there since May. I'd love to know why he hasn't. Whether he just got bored of it or is busy with other concerns.
The new spam AI is really convincing. Or I just failed a Turing test.
"thanks guys. i lost my old account"

Not a fan of Lamb, but Randy's a cool guy. He also does a lot of photography, pretty sure he has a photography book, they likely bonded over this.

I recently drew King Buzzo; I think he'll notice that. I like to buy other artists' work and keep it in my studio because I can always draw inspiration from it or even get a new idea on how to draw. With this kind of content on Instagram, it's hard to get new subscribers, especially if you're not a well-known artist. I recently bought some subscribers on https://i_am_a_spammy_loser.com to get ten thousand subscribers before my account turns one year old and publish an anniversary masterpiece I made.

I have a feeling that will just be the title of the book and tie in with the cover photo. I'm sure the rest of the book won't be all rat pictures. But with Buzz you never know!

i was like...."what the hell? Buzz knows Die Antwoord and photographed their pets?!!!"
Melvins plus Yolandi Visser EP. Hope that happens. It might bomb or it might be brilliant. Either way, she is the kind of voice I could hear Buzz going for.
i think Buzz misses his old pedal

Hahaha, imagine if the rest of the book was just photos of guitar pedals.

It's probably for the best that he is in NY. If i was ever able to attend something like that i would no doubt be fucking irritating!! "Buzz what about that?? What about this?? Buzz!!! BUZZ!!!!!!!". A typical super fan who wouldn't leave him alone!

my wife thumbed through the Buzz book and enjoyed it a lot. says he really loves his dogs and that's good to see. surprised they like golfing. says he's a great photographer.

Trust me, he is! Although with anything creative you never see the outtakes or the failed attempts. Buzz has said as much himself - that he has to wade through a lot of crap to find the gold. I'm sure his photography is the same. For every great photo there are probably a few rubbish ones and plenty of average ones. Having a decent camera like he has though certainly helps. But also like he loves to say "it's the Indian, not the arrow" which is absolutely true.
Just got my RATS book from shoxop.
Beautiful! (And good work on the shipping, Haze team). Mine is signed and numbered by Buzz inside, and also includes a black/silver hand-printed outer wrap that is sealed with a Mackie style skull sticker. That wrap is hand numbered and signed by Buzzo. Looks like that's ed. of 30
Inside the book is a page of writing by Buzz, quotes from friends (including Patton, further dispelling any rumors about their relationship).
The bulk of the book of course is photos, mix of black and white and color. The printing is excellent. There are some quintessential Buzz photos. My favorites are mostly the American street photography. A few of the subjects are not so novel (theme parks, LACMA lamp posts, plane window shots) but taken as a whole it's a good selection of both the life of the photographer and his unique eye.
Then as a little bonus there's a few pages at the back where there's little comments by Buzz about each photo next to a thumbnail. This is a really great touch. You can and should flip through the book to study each photo without being distracted by the text. But the addition of the comments is a really nice thing for the fans.
If you haven't ordered yours yet you should go check if there's any left.
not IG, but FB. the band posted an RIP to Jerry Lee Lewis and most of the commentors were LIVID!

You guys seen Buzzo's most recent pic on his Insta of Dale holding a skull? It made me think it was a behind the scenes shot from some sort of promo shoot - perhaps new album related or such. Are we about to get a death related Melvins record??
