I was thinking about coats earlier today and it suddenly dawned on me that in all my years as a Melvins fan, i don't think i have seen Buzz in a coat or jacket. Like NEVER EVER seen him in one!!! To realise that actually shocked me quite a bit. Now obviously he lives in the warmth of LA. Plus he tends to tour during the Summer months so i suppose one wouldn't expect to see him wearing an outer garment such as a jacket or coat. But still you would think there would be a picture or video of him wearing one at least ONCE!!! I mean, take Dale i've seen him wearing the occasional jacket before but never Buzz. So i ask you guys, am i right about this? Have any of you guys EVER seen him wearing one? It seems like outside of a mumu on stage, he just always has his regular t-shirts with an unbuttoned shirt over the top. Surely touring around the world in slightly colder climates he must have a coat on at some point!

His live rig that he wears is a kind of jacket coat type of thing is it not? I always thought it must get pretty toasty in that thing.

Those are the mumus. I always figure he's got either a powered personal coolant under there or at least some athletic cooling garb. He loves sports. There must be some golf or baseball garments that use perspiration wicking.

He usually has a desk fan behind him on stage too. I saw fairly recently he said in some interview that the mumu's keep him cool. Im not really sure how. I mean, yes by his legs it is open but usually they look quite heavy and padded around his neck area. The combination of that and his big hair - he must be sweating buckets at every show!
Imagine how weird it would be if he went all Matt Pike and started going topless at gigs! Hahaha. I don't want that BTW.
funny stuff, depending on who you are buzz going topless would just be classic melvins adding more value to their shows. you always get more bang for your buck from them which i appreciate and do not take for granted.
