wow that sucks
Hard pass on that for me, too.
😑
Everyone's a critic...
But I like it! I tend to really like all of Haze's t-shirts though. I have quite a few.
i can't believe how bad these Haze artworks look compared to the originals, which were simply great
It doesn't bother me when they make shirts with designs that i dislike. To me that is just ephemera. It's additional, peripheral stuff that - for me - doesn't impede on a band in any meaningful way. What bugs me is when the actual music releases have terrible art. When the visual legacy of a band is compromised. Which happens a hell of a lot when it comes to Haze's mostly awful creations.

Yeah i think it was. I just meant in terms of the actual t-shirt. As an album cover i can respect it in it's own right. I don't think it's one of Haze's worst efforts, but for Melvins and as a representation of Eggnog it's BAD.

Don't you just throw out your album covers anyway?
Bad Mood Rising artwork was cool though!

True of course yet i don't really see what difference that makes. Especially nowadays since we tend to see album art within the digital realm. I find it funny that we sometimes hear folk proclaim the death of the record cover or that album art is less important than ever before. Equating the visual with the physical. Personally i think it is more central and crucial now than ever - the digital signifier, advert or tag. Something to hang the music upon.

Agreed, that was probably his best one. Although don't forget it wasn't Haze who was solely responsible for that cover. Chris Mars was the other contributor.
i like most of haze's melvins art work but that egg nog art is one that i do not care for.
seems like as of late there's been a tee coinciding w each release
maybe it's the color scheme I don't dig but overall I like that lettering not mad at it haha
