We've got Melvins 1983, Melvins Lite and of course the BB Melvins, but what other line-up of the band would you like to see become it's own distinct iteration? Personally i'm surprised the Pinkus and Steve two basses thing wasn't give it's own special name.
Buzz mentioning that he wants to do a Steve AND Trevor combo makes me feel that should be called something else. Melvins Heavy?? Melvins XL??
I'd like to see a version of the band where there are two of everything! Two drummers, two bassists and two guitarists! Rope Coady, Trevor and Adam Jones into the fold.
More Lustmord please. I would like to see collabs with other ambient / electronic artists. A dedicated synth player. The Throbbing Gristle album was super interesting and of course Honky's use of drum machines... Buzz and Dale have good taste in their electronics
just Buzz and Dale for me
(Buzz playing bass)
New band iteration: pure digital fuck you.

Skerik loves the Melvins. He gave me a compliment once for wearing a Melvins shirt at a show he was playing. That would be bad-ass.

The band 'Hornss' or just horns?

Skerik, Critters Bugging? Crack Sabbath? He in those? I remember not really digging them way back when. Too jammy? Can't remember, but yeah. The Ex Brass Unbound was awesome. The Thing. Zu. I dunno. Zorn? Mashall Allen! Not really thinking funky or groovy. But Jazzy. Noisy.
