I was being ultra lazy this morning. Slept in, and even after I got up, I was still dozing off on the loveseat in my office. Luckily a friend of mine texted me about this and I got both right before that option sold out
I just realized, these went up two hours earlier than the usual Sunday morning special releases

As long as you don't see them late in the tour, you should have an excellent chance of getting the tour edition, and possibly a mackie sleeve variant.
As with any of these limited special releases, I want to play it, but I'm so hesitant because it's 'special'. There's the same number of both of them so it's not like one is more rare than the other. I don't wanna be one of those assholes who owns a bunch of records that they've never played before, but when the economy tanks and I need money for a motel room, I'll be able to sell all of this shit for a ton of money, right?

That's totally me. I have a pile of 20 - 30 Melvins shrink wrapped or pristine 7", 10" and LPs sitting separate from the vinyl I actually listen to. I don't even open the cheapy CDs. I fantasize about selling them all one day, but then I think I'd regret it. I like feeling all high and mighty
I have 5 different vinyl versions of Gluey Porch Treatments. I just said 'fuck it!' and threw on the ultra limited Haze blue vinyl. Sounds so good! Like they say about money, you can't take it with you when you're gone....
After you buy one on tour, walk directly to the EBay kiosk where you can list it for ten thousand dollars.

I usually buy a backup copy of the Melvins cheapy CDs and keep that sealed. I don't keep sealed vinyl, though. Even when I didn't have a permanent place for my turntable (years) I'd at least open it up. Check the surface. Give it a good scrub. Put it in a nice rice paper inner sleeve and a 4mil outer sleeve.
Now that I did set up a turntable where I can use it daily, I am finally enjoying my record collection in the way I used to enjoy my CD collection.
Totally missed that they put up two additional ultra limited (to 35) versions. Oh well, after getting the first two, I'll save the $300 for something else.
I have a nice letterpress CD of this and an original CD. The tracklist is rather flawed (I've griped about this many times over the years here) so I don't see a point to getting this on vinyl.
