:?: I just got back from a record store in Seattle and they had all of the H.A.T. singles. I was only able to get two of them when they came out, and I desided I would like to get a copy of "Promise Me".
Well, there is no markings anywhere to identify what songs are on the singles. You have to memorize the Ipecac number or the fucken Halloween masks.
Anyway, I had no choice but to walk away empty handed. But what the fuck, I down loaded them from the Nerds site anyway.
What are your observations on the H.A.T. singles?
If you are a collector, they are very cool. I have them all, and some of the b-sides are pretty sweet.
i had an extra Dr. Geek/Return of the Spiders one. that's cool as hell they had them all at a store!
Does the Nerds ftp site still work?
I love my HAT single. I only got my favorite song from the HAT album since I can't afford to buy a bunch of single. I got The Fool, the meddling idiot. I've been fond of Judas chongo lately, so I might get that one if I find it somewheres.

I'm guessing not as The Melvins Shack used to publish the details on the front-page of the site...I remember people on the Ipecac board saying that it had gone down too. Damn shame!
Probably because of the new RIAA regulations
When i listen to the last track (anti-vermin seed) on the Cd, i now expect it to fade out like it does on the record. (ipecac #27) :)
you can go to http://www.interpunk.com then type in melvins in the search box. i think they have all of the H.A.T. singles for about 5 dollars or something :)
If you're in Birmingham, UK Tempest Records have a few HAT singles left! Bought the whole set for
