He said, "No, it's just about a car". Imagine that! Altamont rocks because DALE gets to front and play his Gibson Les Paul Gold Top!
I love Altamont. Love the Hendrix cover, Ezy Rider.

Yes, Acid King is excellent. Been playing that split w/ Altamont alot lately. You can order the Acid King/Clearlight split CD at the Acid King site for $5. I just ordered that and "Busse Woods" from Small Stone along with MoP - "Experiments In Feedback".

At first listen, I didn't even realize the nod to Beefheart on Mrs. Creech, & I'm a huge Beefheart fan, but now that Dale mentioned it I definitely hear it. I'm Really hoping this tour gets going and makes it to Phoenix. I would drive to Tucson, maybe SoCal to see it too. I just loaded all 4 Altamont discs in the old five disc player to format them for a cassette mix. This is the first time I've done that, since "The Monkees Uncle" came out. I was just awestruck by how consistant this bands catalogue has been since the Acid King Split. It all sounds great. I don't know what you need to be lacking to be a Radio Programmer. Is it a soul, a brain, musical taste? All three? Because this band, this side project that gets shelved for up to 9 years, is better than 99% of the shite on the old airwaves.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Just ordered the 3-LP bundle for $30! Too good to pass up. I already have the Mrs. Creech & Black Coffee singles from there, so didn't need the complete bundle. Also have the Mansruin CDs of the first two Altamonts, and the AntAcidAudio CD of Monkee's Uncle. Always sort of wanted these on vinyl. Not really a fan of picture-disc packaging(those clear poly sleeves :?), but can't beat that price.
