Dale plays a young Neil Young in the Harvest Moon video. I have a video with an interview and scenes from the video. At the end he crashes a Cadilac. Anyone else seen it? He does look the part in the video.
Neil Young is the new Melvins bass player!!!!!
i made a DVD that contain this video.
Melvins on TVs. good jam !!
Can someone post a still pic from the vid of Crover???
I was just listening to this album today. Really rate Harvest Moon.
Anyone know the back-story to this? Did Neil know of the Melvins somehow or did Dale basically just get a job as an extra? My inner Melvins fanboy is too curious on this one over the years.

I'm a huge Neil Young fan and I only like this one marginally. I love his solo acoustic stuff, but I think this album just sounds all wrong. He's revisited this type of album concept again since then with better results - Silver And Gold, Prairie Wind.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't heard at least about 20% of his albums, but I will check out the ones you recommend.

In truth, I recommend Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Studio and live. That's the best stuff (IMO). I love This Notes For You (jazzy blues album with a horn section). The album with Pearl Jam (Mirrorball) is not too bad. His archive stuff from early 70s is excellent too.

That was my favorite for years. Now I lean slightly towards Broken Arrow. I hate Green whatever (the musical) Sleeps With Angels is decent, and Psychedelic Pill is actually quite good, considering their advanced age.
Neil Young 1972-75 ...
Harvest
Time Fades Away
On The Beach
Tonight's The Night
Man, what a run ... 4 for 4 ... dig alota Neil, but those four are probably my faves thru and thru ... those and of course the Dead Man OST

I might get hate for this, but I love Neil Young's Trans album. It's exactly what I want Kraftwerk to be, not what Kraftwerk actually is

I love Trans and anything like it. I know Homeless_Dad will show up here eventually. It's one of his favorites, too. I was just giving (the) Razor a basic idea where to go next. I'd say Trans is about 5 steps further into the NY wormhole. Have you seen his Berlin live set from the Trans tour? I have the DVD.
