VILE
Your vile, sawed in howl
Exudes a demigogic stool
And your little bit of dropper down
It lows and reaches up all real loud
And I pray, and I pray
And slowly rise upon my knees
And praise the little bit of dropper down
That hardens in me
I'm wishin I could feel it but I know
I know it's bigger
Cuz I know even though my pride's grown
I could fall
Take it through the eyes like men
You're scared of what could come
Cuz I know my only pain comes through the eyes
Through the eyes
Wishing that I could feel it but I know
You can take yours
Cuz I know it's a runaround like a chump
[inaudible gibberish]
OVEN
I coulda swore I gave my wedding ring to you.
Among the chewing gears you taunt me tear.
Elements are still alive to shake from ear to ear.
Pez are gonna let it slide, gonna burn what cotton decides are apelee.
My main oven drive, he took from under what's come over me.
OK, I am not too proud to admit that I have never seen the real lyrics to this album. I only have a tape copy from many years ago.
Nevertheless, I have decided to take a stab at Vile since no one has posted it. I am guessing that it doesn't appear on the liner? In any case, the 1987.04.23 show was a big help - Buzz is much more decipherable there.
VILE
your vile surrender
exudes a demagogue extue(?)
as your little bits are dropping down
don't you wish i ---
and i pray, and i pray
this lonely rise upon my knees
and praise the little bits a-droppin' down
that hardens in me
i wish that i could feel it but i know
i know it's bigger
'cause i know even though my pride's growin'
i can fall
i take it through the eyes like ---
you're scared what could come
'cause i know my only pain comes through the eyes
through the eyes
wishing i could feel it but i know
you can take yours
'cause i know it's a runaround like a chump
-
- cool air
in the koollegged lyrics it reads as "picture of jesus as an indian" and not "jesus and an indian"
In Green Honey, I've always heard "There's a place downtown called red" as "There's a place called Taco Bell."
