Title: Idea for next Melvins album
Post by: Leroy on August 28, 2005, 01:57:26 AM
Since they don't have a new permanent bassist yet (or haven't said who it is), they should have "guest" bass spots on their next album.  For instance, David Scott Stone, Adam Jones, Mike Kunka, Jared, etc...

Sorta like Dave Navarro did.  I think Gov't Mule did that too.

I thought you meant conceptually when I first read the topic name. I'd kind of like to see them do something more rockin', as in something a little more song-oriented, because it seems they've been in experimental mode for a while, but who knows. I don't think the Biafra thing applies really because it wasn't really their record, as far as I know; it was more of a Jello Biafra thing.

RIP.

Voivod will still go on though i think, theyve been playing live shows
since his illness with a stand-in on guitar, a former guitar student of
Piggys named Michel Dupuis.

So it was low of me to ask if Jason Newsted left EChobrain?  I don't get it...I'm a little confused.
