Every date on this tour on both the east and west coast will feature a Melvins set followed by a Jellvins set, except for the Halloween show in SF, which is the Alternative Tentacles showcase. All the west coast dates, again with the exception of the Halloween show will also have Altamont opening.
Please make a note of it.
Will this be on the exam?
There's an exam?!!!
Crover's gonna' be rockin' out on his Gibson Les Paul Gold Top with Altamont!! For those of you who are in awe of Crover's drumb talents, he fronts Altamont on gi-tar and wails.
Thoroughly man! He's been onto something special since his solo EP even!
hahah but for all those cave dwellers out there Altamont have a couple great
records out there, sticky dirty balls in the dirt and its Dale on guits and vocs, who knew
he was a triple threat !ahha

aaarghh
punished for being in SF

So what's the deal with Big Business? I was under the impression that the fall tour would be Big Business and the Melvins with Big Business opening the show and then staying on stage for the Melvins set. Is Trevor playing bass instead for this short tour?
that sucks...i want to see a melvins set damn it.
The Melvins Big Biz tour won't be until after the first of the year sometime. I am under the impression that it will be a larger tour than the Jelvins short tour.
I think it's pretty cool that the Dicks are playing Halloween, but I am in fact going down to LA on November 16 to catch a Melvins set.
Come on dude, you gotta' wear the ladybug suit at that gig. My brother from SanDiego will be there, I'll tell him to watch for ya'..........

Actually it's " The Young Ones " without Michael Ryan. They had a Comic Strip Presents show on BBC. They also did an lp which is where the pic came from. Pretty hilarious stuff if you've ever seen it.
oh shit, i love the Young Ones! i'll have to check that show out.
Reaper, i'll be at the Seattle show (if that's what you were referring to). i think i said that before. what, i don't count!?
I bought my ticket today for the Eugene show. I can't wait to see the Melvins.

fucked up once again,,,,,,,,,,,,,here i am drinking on sunday. all alone, its ok ,,in seattle we now sale booze on sunday, so after i get some fuel in my gut, ill creep down , useing the back roads, to the booze store, funny though it ant like sfo, the state runs the store, so you can't stumble in and get a bottle, you can;t slur your words. if you seem fucked up you wont get your drink, so just say things like yep,, that word doe's not have an exhale, so they won't smell the booze.
i hope to be at

every word has an exhale, how do you think you get your vocal cords to vibrate? don't post dumb shit about getting drunk. nobody cares
A lot of the venues on this tour are strange. Reason for that is Jello wanted every venue to be all ages.
alright, just confirmed my ticket for friday night in boston.
gonna make the 1-night, 6-hour round trip for the once-a-year event which rivals all other sensory experience!
i'll make sure to get the setlist for this, the first show of the east coast tour. they should be limber! (or rusty...)
i'm excited.
i am bringing one for sure, and maybe three melvins-virgins with me. this should be fun to watch.
i'm excited
i'm bringing my girlfriend who hates them with a passion. i'm hoping this experience will convert her. maybe i should wait until she sleeps and play them softly on the stereo. she'd kill me in my sleep if she woke up to the Melvins.
haha! do it.. subconsciously lure her.
tell her to just enjoy the experience of the intensity of their show and to appreciate what these 3 (4 this time?) people are doing to the atmosphere with their instruments. only a real stubborn bastard would disagree that the melvins create a unique atmosphere within which to immerse oneself.
they move a lot of molecules in your mind and ass thats for sure
my ass molecules are hairy

Has anyone heard about Alice Donut opening for the tour anywhere? I got a very cryptic email.....
No Alice Donut anywhere on this tour. I say this with 99.9% confidence.
mmmmmmmmmm, donut...
Tonight's the big night here in Seattle. How many here will be there?
The Commet tavern is a cool place to get a beer.
Also the Bad Ju Ju Lounge has moved next to Neumo's.
See you there.
hey bud! have fun tonight at the show, bud.
-your bud
damn vin, you feeling a bit ornery on this post? do I sense a bit of nastyness in your typing?
easy killer, no one wants to hurt you here.
oh no...i've been grossly misinterpreted. i really did mean grim should have fun! i thought adding the ol' overuse of "bud" would invoke feelings of community bonding through recalling of a previous "joke". i thought well-wishing combined with a supportive community atmosphere would really help grimreaper feel that i hope he enjoys his concert tonight.
i kid you not, this was my pathetically-overthought posting process.
i'll show you ornery!
I got ya. I was just joshing a bit myself. but I noticed you DID get a little nasty with the dude about being drunk about a page back.

i cannot deny this. i am easily set-off by stupid drunk people. there is nothing that disappoints me more than a respectable person who turns into a jackass when they drink. when i drink, i attempt to retain my sober sensibility and self-respect, while enjoying the feeling of intoxication. compromising one's image and consistency and attributing it to alcohol is, in my opinion a bullshit cop out. one's decision to get drunk is made, knowing well the outcome and how it will effect one. when that is considered, i can't have any sympathy for a drunken fool.
no offense to anyone is intended, it's just how i feel internally about people i observe. i don't really think less of these people, as much as i hope that sometime they'll figure out why it is they lack self-respect, and will be able to do something about it and as a result, live a better more fulfilling life, and contribute positively to our society [which we are all forced into together]. it's hardly my place to tell them my thoughts, as that would probably be disrespectful. it is difficult though, to continue to try and respect someone when they aren't doing the same for you.
anyway, i have to go in my vehicle now.

Bad SFO is not stupid. A highly respected alcoholic and my attorney.
A quote from Flipper Mr.Vinny: "Fucked Up, Once Again".
Anyway Smellis, see you at the Comet. Bring Rhett E. with ya.
