One of my favorite Buzz interview is the one he did with Mike patton in some European country during the Amenaza tour - it's about 20 min long and the mp3s are titled roxm and fantomas. The whole thing is about how it is in the music industry - very insightful and funny.
You know, I can kinda see why buzzo et al. hated Jello - his lyrics are far more naive, simplisitic and radical than his actual views - which are not totally unreasonable. Unfortunately, you don't really understand that unless you actually hear him speak.
I liked the one where he talks about fisting Sugar Ray, I don't remember which one that is though.

anyway, good stuff. Listening to and reading interviews, you can really tell that the guys (esp. Buzz) are not stupid people.

NOT his best interview IMHO. He knows alot more than he comes off as knowing. The interviewer was bummed,and I can see (hear) why,even if he was a tight assed Dutch fuck ("take him away... Dutch hater"...LOL). Buzz sucked shit here and Mark sounds like a Buzz asskisser,backing him up verbatim and not ever expounding or adding anything of substance. Of course I am an eccentric ass myself,so I got the same Megalomaniac attitude down,with a smugness that resembles his also. I just don't work so damn hard at contradicting myself to drive people away who I don't like,or want to talk to. You can actually hear him realize that he is blowing it by contradicting his own beliefs to say anything shocking and "punk" to this guy,and he does'nt stop. just my drunken take,it could change once I sober

The one he did for www.whileyouweresleeping.com was great. I think the mag tanked between now and then, but they still may have it online. Right before the Pigs tour I believe.

I think that the name says it all - Jello Biafra & The Melvins - doesn't it remind you of the old 50s names?: Buddy Holly & The Crickets, Bill Haley & The Comets, Cliff Richard & The Shadows....... The Melvins are a backing band to Jello, and if you try not to expect a proper Melvins presence in the songwriting, (and if you like Jello of course), it's a pretty decent record. it sags a bit in places but there's some great stuff in there. 'Yuppie Cadillac' (a Jello song) and 'Dawn Of The Locusts' in particular. its not one of my favourites, but it was worth buying
